Choice of Rebels: Uprising — Lead the revolt against a bloodthirsty empire!

High Compassion, High Cosmopolitan. Dont care about religious nuts so 50/50 yet. I will go for temple raids. Also low chaos rating is what I am seeing. Also was trying not to raid nobles/yeoman/traders cause rebels, not ‘thieves’

Hmm you could follow parts of my guide then though what are you planning for chapter 4

No idea. I cant remember C4 in detail.

Also what did you do at the end of chapter 1 since that affects the starting anarchy for chapter 2

I prefer flee but know need supplies. Tend to flee to woods.

Here is my guide (Which is INT 2 CHA 1) just ignore the religious bits and if you want you could raid the temple instead of the yeoman if you are going to do the battle in chapter 4 Choice of Rebels Guides (SPOILERS) - #176 by Nm6k

Oh. So Anarchy isnt what I thought it meant. Its something else. Its how the area sits, not how disorganized my rebels are.

I do recall mine was above 20s at end. Cant recall exact number.

Yep kind of like Anarchy in Dishonored if you have played it expect not a completely bad thing depending on your long term plans

In dishonored I didnt kill.

I did put all the men in one pile and all the women in another pile though! The couples that announced they were, staid in a bed after knocking them out together.

Thank you! For comparison, this is the 2COM/1INT version of the run with middling-ish RNG (bad initial mule RNG, Week 8 Architelone raid). Also uses 150 traps total, and also gets a flawless (2 combat rounds, all lieutenants alive including Bleys). I left 4300 gold on the table to show it can be done with worse RNG.

So you get the same gameplay result as 2COM/1CHA, but you have quite a bit fewer troops and arms. Part of that comes from 1CHA getting the ball rolling faster on recruitment (it starts with more men), part of that comes from 1CHA being able to take down Theurges without losing Kalt.

If you were to do a Ruthless/Skeptical/Cosmopolitan run, and did not have to (“inadvertently”) lose men in the post-Harrowing looting to get Homelander points, the numbers would be much closer.

I’ve said earlier that 2-Charisma builds are the strongest in the game, I still think that is true, but there’s a caveat: 2-Charisma gets you the big wins with favorable setups (Devout-Inner Voice/Cosmopolitan), but it can’t pull off a perfect win on the weakest setup if you show off Horion’s body.

2-Combat CAN pull out a perfect win even on the weakest setups. I think the traps play a big role in this.

And the ending:

Looks cool but Ruthless. I can’t. Thanks though.

The advantage of COM0 is how easy it is to boost your ruthlessness. Just…miss with a certain dagger.

Fire is the test of gold. If we did not test our builds in the most arduous situations (the weakest attribute combination, “red bars,” while facing the most enemies possible), we would never have solved the Book 1 Winter.

But after the Winter the game is much more narrative than mathematical, so I don’t think we’ll have to do anything like that again!

No promises. The endgame might well feel similar. But that’s a long way off, and I don’t have any concrete plans for a management section before then.

Its more of the idea wanting the kiddos got attached to growing up with, making it. The first time upon release, I know they didn’t. Uhm. Can’t think of their names atm.

Its those specific kids I want to live. Dont care about the rest of the strangers never given names to as much.

You alway ask @Lucid for tips. Their last game had a lot of resources management

@Havenstone iirc you said literacy will be important in the future, so i tried to focus teaching the rebels in the winter as much as i can and this is the result.

I already tried testing this over and over and looks like i can get around 80 literate rebels. My question is will 80 literate will have an impact at the second book and will be there an oppurtunity later to raise it in the second book too?

Also i wonder if you can teach other theurgy if you are INT 3 theurge, especially teach the other your specialization. Having a group of rebels that focus on healing is a nice thing to have.

How do you become able to do theurgic healing?

Ah, so you have to get a bunch of your guys killed. Probably not worth it?
