Is education free in Spain even in college or university :)?
Is it true , that the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain?
Public School is totally free except food if you wanna eat there.public University is cheap as hell less than 1000 dollars year without country financial aid for poor people with that is free . But in Germany is even cheaper. And about rain no clue of plain im in north and weather is similar to england south is hotter and east is mediterranean weather, center is cold as hell in winter and hot as hell in summer
@ChoiceofManning, right now Breden’s the one possible love interest. Depending on the anarchy level you create as a bandit, at the end of Ch2 you’ll be joined by either a noble or a helot who has a crush on you. These are two more potential LIs, but their plots are just starting, and you can’t get them both on a single playthrough.
“How many followers can we end with in single play through and exactly how large is a phalangite force.” Good questions, which will be answered in Ch 4. More followers will join you in Ch 3, depending in part on how consistent you’ve been as a nationalist, heretic etc. And the number of Phalangites (and Theurges) who come after you in Ch 4 will depend on how much you’ve pissed off the Thaumatarch by e.g. targeting tax collection, inter-provincial trade, and other things of pressing interest.
If you want to try to beat the Phalangites in open battle, you’d better have a COM 2 and the grasp of tactics that comes with it. There’s only so much a charismatic leader or minor Theurge can do in a situation that tactically challenging.
I hear you on Breden, but I’m inclined to stick with the name – IMHO it’s gender-neutral enough.
@Havenstone : So, does that mean that most followers will come if we’re at one extreme or another, rather than the center? I get that people who are most motivated by religion will only really join the uprising if it’s basing itself around the super-religious sort of throwing out corruption way, but I was thinking that having a sort of middle-of-the-road point in the nationalist/international religious/skeptical and ruthless/compassionate would leave more room for not alienating people by just being very narrow in focus and adapting ones actions for what is most pragmatic in taking down the Thaumatarchy. Though, being such an opportunist probably disappoints the more ideological folks… Will the exact amount of support we garner at the start differ depending on which exact ideology, as will the type of it? I imagine that, being in a relatively religious area in Shayard, one might get more folks for religious based cleansing of corruption than one would get skeptical followers, at least to start out with.
Then again, the more religious folks might be hesitant to get down with what appears to be a heretic, especially if we are doing that sort of rule-changing with baptism and so on (even with the high charisma to make the folks there okay with it I’m not sure if any word spread around would result in anything good).
@Golgot, I think the people who are inclined to join you in the early running will be those attracted to extremes. It takes an ideological level of enthusiasm to head out into the woods to join an outlaw pack that’s probably about to be exterminated.
If you survive, of course, the downsides of being an extremist (and of having done extremist things in the early running) will become more apparent, in the extent to which your movement alienates and threatens the mainstream. It’s all a bit like a US presidential campaign.
And somebody has been reading the txt files, eh?
Hmm i wonder who will follow me @Havenstone im in center except in anarchy with my 1 stat. i only stole temple no people and help merchants.
Well… they’re interesting! I love to see the inner workings of the games, and the sort of half-finished ideas hanging around at the end there were very neat. If we’re expecting more of that sort of thing in the next chapter, I just be so joyful when that comes out!
ok so they will be more aggresive if you attack the tax collector, will the extent of that aggresiveness be affected by if you killed the tax collector and/or soldiers,or will it just be the same aggresion regardless
@Matteller, If you kill the Architelone, you will get more soldiers sent after you.
Mara, you’ll have to let me know how you do when the update is out.
@Havenstone I warn you if a bunch of Hare Krishna helots hippies i would be very, very pissed . Could i lapidate Breden in the new chapter? I WANNA :((
So when is this gonna release vaguely?
Sorry, Player–I’d certainly LIKE to release it this year, but that depends on some things outside my control. I’m writing almost every night, so it’ll add up eventually…
Rrgh, I can’t seem to find any way to get that damn tax collector with a CHA-based helot. Is it impossible? If so, that’s kind of annoying, considering it has the feel of a “major side mission”, so you’d think any character build would be able to do it if they chose the right options.
You can do it with any strength, but not with an INT weakness. Go CHA 2 INT 1, and you should be able to get a fine if not perfect outcome.
@Havenstone if i go with my default 2 Char 1 int to the tax collector’s mission I have to up my anarchy in all outcomes? I just never go due i already have tons of food and i dont gain any rusty maze to my 53 slaves army. i dont see any gain in go there with7 maces to be slaughtered.
If you go about it with the true prestigious noble path (also known as saving no helots from the harrower) then you only have barely enough followers to go on the tax collector mission without doing anything else. Forget about the anarchy that it might potentially bring (I think it wasn’t too much of a bump anyway), it makes the nobles and the merchants all so much happier with you!
Ohh @Golgot i would try that if help me with the right people, my commoners could die by famine for i care about them.
For reference, I just did a readthrough as a helot with CHA 2 INT 1 and got Bleys to join the band. I did it without killing the Alastors in Rim Square (the high CHA was useful there, and in getting the band to accept Bleys and Huette afterward). It was, in fact, a pretty much perfect outcome. So give it another shot, @Yamato…
Well i played the stole Tax man mission all end well, i have 40 weapons for 40 guys and my cousin Ciel is happy. But i couldnt do nothing more than that so no helots join me i still with 40 people how could i gain more if only could do 1 mission??? Also my daddy options to chat are totally against my character styleare all helot lovers. There is not i doing it for recover our family power dad. Think in how much we could win. We are already dead, nothing to lose but we have many to gain. Ane of corse tell him these helots are mere tools i dont want free them. I dont wanna a better regime i just want freedom of empire and power in Shayard … not have to tell him i want to make a hippy utopia or q bloodshed rebolution utopia.
