Sorry to be a bother, just want to point out that in the Canadian Android version the discount price is listed as $6.49, almost a full dollar more than the Canadian steam version. Is this a mistake or working as intended?
Unfortunately, each of the platforms handles conversion rates and discounts in their own way.
So tempting to get it from Steam since it’s much cheaper but I much prefer to play CoG on the go. XD
I guess I have to buy it through Android. XD
So, I just realized something while playing.
This is fantasy Atlas Shrugged, isn’t it?
How can we save Vera?
I don’t want to go through her dying again.
I cant romance the queen, when i look at the code there is no statement of thecla_romance true in i would like that choice.
How do you Romance Sam?
This game looks and sounds amazing. I’m definitely going to buy it. And I’m so happy the choice games have an abundance of sexual diversity. But is there any racial diversity? Tbh it’s even more imnersive for me and I’m sure other people when you see people who look like you represented in the media you consume. Like I love seeing black people in books just doing cool things.
No! It’s not Atlas Shrugged at all. If you think it is, try making choices that don’t fit that narrative. (The marketing might be pure Atlas Shrugged, but I guess the editors know what sells?)
Is that the US Apple Store?
Nope Canadian omnibus.
Afaik, you have to take the initiative. Heal his dragon to boost the relationship stat and just be generally kind to him and agree with his views. Agree to meet the Hierophant, when camping choose to flirt with him. Out of the 3 options, the one that is the most subtle (asking if he is allowed to have attachments nets points while the other two loses it iirc) I didn’t choose to teach him Vivomancy, not sure if that affects anything since he won’t be a Saint. There’s also one scene where you meet up with him again, take the option to kiss him and you should be good!
It looks like it’s the full price. It is best you send an email to CoG support to resolve the issue.
@kgold you’re a fromsoft fan aren’t you? I got that Logan reference
What’s the address for that?
I found this in the Android page:
There’s no “algorithm,” only events that raise and lower it.
Essentially, in the final chapters, any implementation of magic can raise Kingdom Power, while it can be lowered by sabotage, political opposition (low Adoration), military defeats or failures related to your power source.
@Longes: In general, it’s very difficult to benefit in this game by telling your society to fuck off because you won’t help them - probably because the narrative doesn’t make you immune to the consequences of your decisions.
@kgold
I really love the game this from what I’ve played so far this is definitely one of my favorite Choice of Games.
I think what I love best is the way that seemingly small choices can lead to new paths. In one play through I hid in a nearby village when the inquisitors came to town, and I thought I would get some different options during the day but end up back in jail, but it led to a really different scene.
I also think you did well in making the stats resolve situations differently. In a lot of games stats are just cosmetically different ways to reach the same outcome. I feel like even in situations where the different skills didn’t open completely unique paths there were enough perks and drawbacks that you needed to strongly consider what you wanted to use.
Now this is something that has been bothering me a lot. I’ve explored the transformative ending. And I think it’s bad that we just effectively leave our spouse. They just get written out with a few lines. I don’t want to be mean because I really love the game but it seems like a placeholder. I got pretty attached to Tal she’s well written I think it’s weird that the player character can convince the queen that being a dragon is better in every way but they don’t even try to convince their spouse. It might seem like a nitpick but you wrote likable characters and it sucks to seem the just disappear from the story.
I just want to emphasize again that I love the game and think you did a great job but I do hope you consider what I said.
