Can’t wait to try to seduce the Prince and fail miserably
Well I finished the 4 free chapters and I say… is worth it
From what I’ve seen it also give a good instrument to play it: the “Storyteller mode” is an option you could pick up at the start (or you could play “blind” without it) where it give you an idea of what stats are needed in particular choices. I found it pretty useful . The role-playing aspect is covered really well and aside the bonus clan that in this demo are blocked: the Caitliff or the Tremere. The other clans are covered but from what I’ve seen even if you meet some you could NOT play as a Nosferatu (I think for obvious story reasons as you have to interact with people along the way). Aside this It give you plenty of choices and customization with interesting characters and a good story
Oh this is going on my calendar. I have a mighty need to play as Tremere
A purchase confirmation email. It’s a mouthful, but it’s unambiguous. I also think of a receipt as physical.
Would it be okay/still work if the game is received as a gift on Steam?
Steam should still acknowledge you receiving the game as a gift, so you can print up that email, or go to your library and look at transactions, and it should show the received gift there (if I remember correctly) … CoG just needs proof-of-purchase.
@Mary_Duffy – I would refer it to proof-of-purchase, since today’s receipt of goods or services comes in so many unique forms.
Simply, “proof of purchase.”
I’d like to ask, how long is the game? How many words is it? What are the clans that you can play (besides tremere)? I don’t want to get into the demo now, but play it fully when it’s released.
Ventrue, Toreador, Tremere, Brujah, Gangrel, Assamite and Clanless.
I haven’t received the final word count from the copy editor yet, but over 600k words. Bigger than any of my previous games, including Silverworld. Five linear chapters, six courier missions to be tackled in your preferred order, three potential ghouls, 5-7 clans, plus all their relevant disciplines—there’s a lot there!
Automatically-included playable clans are Ventrue, Toreador, Gangrel, Brujah, and Banu Haqim (“Assamites”). Tremere and Caitiff are packaged together as an in-app purchase that unlocks those clans and some relevant backstory and shapes certain reactions throughout the game.
Clap Clap Clap
See this is why you’re one of the best Authors in COG.
Keep up the great work!!!
I have it as 650k; we need to run around and update the descriptions.
Can’t wait
For clarification, do I forward the recipet or send a screenshot?
Haven’t heard a word about romance yet, which kinda make sense given the setting… and, frankly, that’s rare (for me) case when it’s not as important. I always enjoy your games, @Moochava, and can’t wait to play this one.
Congratulations on new release, and with such famous IP!
Oh there’s “romance,” I think you just may not feel very good about it
Yeah, I more or less familiar with how “romance” usually works with WoD’s vampires. XD
Atleast in cWod… or is it Chronicles now? Haven’t tackled this system and setting for years.
How much will it cost
is it like Red Embrace: Hollywood style of vampire romance?
Forwarding your receipt works.
