BREACH: The Archangel Job - (Released! | Discussion) New Discord

I’m a smiley vigilante too, I could never play the undercover I get too attached to people to betray them lol I would probably be dead in 3 days in the real criminal world

That is why I spend most games thinking, please don’t let the love interest betray me!! Because I know I’m a sap and I’m in real trouble if they do. Welcome to fail state!

Shotty for the win boys!

And like @deznutes said, we are on copy edit stage boys and gals, strap your plate carriers, check your ammo and mask on!

To elaborate, I usually play as an Undercover Smiley, who uses an L96 and a Beretta 92. He’s quite the dumbass (Not intellectually challenged or anything, just does stupid shit all the time), and gets shot up often… For no reason whatsoever. Absolutely none. No siree. He really just gets shot just to spend time with Raquel, even HE doesn’t know why.

He’s subtle, though, and wears a white mask with a sad face on it, representative of his inner self and how it conflicts with the act he plays. It isn’t like someone knows who he really is…

Also,

This raises a question, assuming I’m partially correct. How didn’t any of the Archangels know about the fact that the PC (Mine, undercover officers, specifically) are in the Police Force? How long have they been watching?

For those wondering what the hell that post was talking about (Including me…) I think it was replaying to the very ultra cryptic answers I age to some of the questions long ago.

Now, a bit of explanation, you’re in the right garden with that post but you were pointing up the wrong tree. So yeah, you were more than partially correct.

Only one person knows the entire time. And that one person keeps everyone else guessing and making sure they don’t make you out as a rat.

… Also, that first line “Take slow watches” is a bit weird so I’ll give out a bit of an answer. Every time the MC experiences everything in slow motion when they’re faced with critical decisions isn’t just for theatrics. It’s deliberate

So, since I keep seeing jokes about it and I just read the demo recently and got really interested in this.

I have to ask -

Do we get the option later to spend time with Raquel WITHOUT getting shot? I admit the idea of purposely getting shot to hang out with her is hilarious and I would probably do it but I would much prefer to avoid getting shot whenever possible.

Yes, yes there is. Love doesn’t need to hurt. In the later game, you will be able to spend a bit more time with the trio, in which you can support Raquel by either supporting Gabriel or supporting her.

Tbtw I hit zero health for the Raquel route and even the in-game narrator was confused

@MichaelMaxwell In regards to that post referencing the apparent slow-motion the MC experiences. Looking for an old post and instead found this. So the mcs quirk is they can perceive time slower in certain situations? That’s why they’re being recruited?

Yes but not the only reason

And before you start speculating, no, Gabriel is not the MC’s father.

I would certainly hope that he isnt, lol
Would revealing his age be a spoiler, though?

Nope. He’s 31 years old.

I’ll go off on a limb and say he’s the MCs sibling. It’s probably false but it works with a darker headcanon of mine

The MC and Gabriel are not related by blood.

But how would Gabriel know that the MC can “slow down” time if he has to make an important decision? It doesn’t seem like something you’d find out easily.
