My Pyrrhos is very nice though. He only gets irritable and vengeful at those who disrespect or harm his loved ones (spec his beloved chthonic gods) . So he’d easily get used and muse that he can’t blame them for being human.
The Sisyphus myth in particular will not appear, though there is another one that should be able to give those who’d like a chance to be a little more fearsome the opportunity to do that!
There are of course loads and loads of myths I could use, and I’d never be able to cover them all in just two games, unfortunately.
True, about not being able to cover every myth, you have my attention about using a different myth that will work. I will not ask for spoilers. I am intrigued.
Yes, gimme a chance for my MC to flex his magic in defense of his family!
Although my MC is probably more cute then powerful in Hades eyes. Like watching a particularly stubborn flower trying to grow through concrete. Or a weed. But hey, even weeds have a thorn or two.
Don’t discount weeds, they’re some of the most successful plant life on the planet!
I’ve never understood why spring is supposed to be such a “gentle” season. Yes, winter is over. But growth itself is violent, it often only on a microscopic scale. So is birth. And rivers breaking free of ice, are you kidding me? And there are always those sudden blizzards that pop up in places, and violent thunderstorms, etc. Whoever thinks spring and its associated deities aren’t fearsome was clearly only paying attention to the aspects of the season that they liked. Historically, far more people have died of exposure in the spring than in any other season, simply because spring and all it’s promise makes people incautious of the risks.
In other words, Persephone should already be considered a figure of some dread (and yes, historically, there is evidence that she was.) Playing a more terrifying version should be more easy than you think.
Well, I did say my Pyrrhos has a very similar side to Demeter when aggravated in just the right way. He’s just more peaceful and agreeable most of the time. So it fits with spring.
I only said it’s cute to Hades, cause we are still only a demigod…though we may become true gods/goddesses at this rate.
But just ask that one Titan if you doubt my Pyrrhos. He learned what happens when you hurt Hades in front of him. Because my boy is nice, but he is not a pushover and certainly not a pacifist. He just put all his stats into wis and int.
