"Blood Moon"—You're a werewolf; but can you survive the night?

“Rather than”? You can hire them both.

My body count is three. Terry, Elma, and… I wanna say Marco?

Blackwell has HP. But it’s not his life points… it’s the number of people he takes with him when he dies. Take every opportunity you can to attack Blackwell. If that number is at 0 when he dies, he won’t take anyone else with him.

In my Alpha run, only Terry and someone else bit it. I have no idea who the second one was, maybe it was just Terry.

First playthrough and my MC was killed in the end :joy: well at least the wolf won.
Really cool story and concept, I really enjoy it.

How do I make Sergi alpha AND keep him alive in the final fight???

It worked for me doing the following:

  • go with Vicky to talk to the witch and when given the option ask her to be your ally
  • when everyone is discussing who should be the next alpha talk to everyone and when asked always said you think Sergi should do it
  • when he becomes alpha tell him you want to kill Blackwell and you’re going to take care of it
  • get all the help you can get Farro/Shawnie, Jay, anyone
  • during the battle check your health, attack (rip/tear) and when it says help someone and they can manage or help someone and you’ll get hurt don’t do it. Protect the pack, leave someone behind with the cubs.

That’s what worked for me and although 3 people died  but I got the end scene with Sergi

which choice you chose in last battle ?

Focus on Blackwell, rush, maim, slaughter. Got both hunter and the witch to help me out, had high health, focused on destroying grenade vampires and then went for Blackwell, rushed.

Keeping the pack alive during the in final battle is about balancing your health, their health and Blackwell’s.

1-You want to go into the battle with as much health as possible because that gives you room to maneuver. You can rescue packmates without the risk of dying yourself. So, watch that health. If, for instance, you were in the car the Alpha was killed, don’t join in the fight at the Thank Q mart because that’ll further drain your health.

2-Get allies. Get, at least, Carrie, Lee, Jay and either the fledgelings or the witch. Carrie can heal wounded packmates, Jay can help you and the vampires/witch will hurt Blackwell. Hurting Blackwell is, by far, the most vital part of the final battle.

3-During the battle, Blackwell MUST be the priority. If you get an option between fighting Blackwell or fighting thralls ALWAYS FIGHT BLACKWELL. He is the most dangerous and if he is not sufficiently wounded by the time the fight moves into the bridal store, Sergi will be the first one he kills.

However, if a packmate is fighting alone and you get the option to help them, HELP THEM! They are in danger and might die without your help. This is why it’s important to keep up your health. Because helping them and fighting Blackwell will, inevitably, drain it and you can die.

You can win without Carrie. I’ve killed her in my own run, yet the crew did fine even without the assistance of Roe’s pack.

I want help Elma and Terry T ^T

You can, she’s just helpful in keeping people alive. Plus, generally speaking, tricking Blackwell rather than going to the Night King seems to result in an harder fight overall.

That opening grenade really rocks the pack’s shit.

Terry is the scripted death if MC is the alpha.

Wait, you can have both? How?

Also how do you keep Carrie around? She wound up just leaving the pack in my game.

I… didn’t have any problem doing it, so I’m not sure I can be much help. I didn’t even know you could NOT be able to do it. Just go the witch option as a means of trying to find about Carrie early on, and… don’t be a dick to the witch, I guess? When the preparation for the final battle comes, call the witch, then the hunter.

Also did not have a problem with this, so again, don’t know how helpful I can be. Just check on Carrie every chance you get, help her to her apartment, howl to her through the bathroom door, say you’ll help her when the full moon comes. When meeting Blackwell, tell him that meeting with him is Carrie’s choice. If you don’t go the route where you’re attacked alongside the alpha, enter Carrie’s apartment on your own.

Let me know if that doesn’t work, so we can try to figure out what you’re missing.

You need to get Carrie’s approval up a certain level in order for her to want to stay with the pack. In order to do that, you’re gonna have to spend time with her.

While talking with her, remember that she has been told lies about werewolves all her life and is going through withdrawal. So, be patient and sympathetic and she’ll come around.

If you kill Carrie and try to kill Bates, Ed still thinks you’ll do a good job talking to Blackwell.

Are you sure, mate? I’m pretty sure this new character is very murderous.

I’m trying to romance Ed, but it’s making me feel so old and out of touch. I’ve never played Pokemon. I barely know the difference between Beyonce and Rihanna. “Influencer” is almost an alien concept. I don’t know how to relate to this guy…

Edit: Well, I give up. The constant barrage of foul language eventually became an issue.

Since Vicky is one of my favorite ros, I have a scenario in my mind of the relationship with the MC. Viky is more defensive and intimidating because she harbors the MC’s baby in her womb and now she is the one she wants to protect at all costs.

Thanks, I got both this time around. The reason I missed the hunter is just because I chose not to talk to him the first time lol, since I chose that my character’s former pack was killed by hunters it didn’t feel like it made a ton of sense. If anyone else is curious, the most important conversation you have with Carrie seems to be the one where you get back from Blackwell. Unless you go out of your way to be mean to her there you’ll likely boost the relationship enough for her to come back to the pack.

Anyone else feel like playing as a witch in this setting would be neat? I liked what we saw from Ruby.
