If you pick that you’re attracted to women it still lists all of the siblings as men once you talk to Mrs. Fletcher.
Edit: Maybe I just misclicked . I ran back through it to make sure it happened again but this time it listed them as sisters.

Hello, interesting and intriguing wip so far, haven’t finished playing though, decided to write a comment first. I have a question, will there be any save slots in the future? I’m not really keen on continuously replaying the game, if my character dies or gets into a very unfortunate situation that might result in their death.

Hello! Glad you like what I have out so far. While there is going to be some creepy and mysterious parts, the focus of the story is romance. Your MC won’t die, and if it ever were to happen, which isn’t in the plans as of now, it would be in later books

Thank goodness, honestly. I don’t mind myself some juicy intrigue, but worrying about failing a check and falling to my game-over-screen doom can be distracting, especially if I can just reload. That said, if you decide to implement the possibility sooner, or at all, I wouldn’t fault you.
(Now I’m just trailing off into train of thought territory, but since this is a relationships-focused piece, it would be fun(?) if after a death you read through your loved one’s thoughts of devastation… That actually might encourage me to die on purpose – I’m not a horrible person, I’m not!)

purposefully diving your MC into certain death just to see their lover’s dramatic reaction is such a relatable line of thought

im a long-time lurker on the forum and have never commented but i have to say, this is VERY interesting. i love the flow of the story and the characters that we’ve gotten to know so far. definitely keeping an eye out for updates on this one! best of luck

And I was hooked. You are cooking something fire here. And I do hope that you are planning to add some default names (In order for the player to not have the same name as any future characters & and a more era appropriate names). Looking forward to meet the Blackwood Children.

I really enjoyed your demo, I’m a big fan of period stories and mystery, so having the two combined is exciting.
It felt very well done, the writing matched the time period, lots of descriptions and fleshed out scenes. I am looking forward to reading more.

So… I have written quite a bit of chapter 2. I was wondering if people would rather I make a big update later on, or a smaller update sooner 
- Smaller update at an earlier time

Voted on the update size and schedule. Is there a possibility that you could add a save feature to your wip? I end up playing in bits and pieces and keep losing my progress and having to start over.

Hello! I was planning to add a save feature with the next update (chapter 2), because as of now the game felt pretty short… but if you think there’s a need for it now, I can add it sooner
