I’ve begun work on my new game, Birth to Death. In it, you play as an animal. As you grow, there will be challenges that you face, even as a newborn!
There is a chance of being taken away from your parents while you’re a newborn.
As an adult, reproduce and lead your family to different areas. The more food an area has the healthier your family is and the better survival chance.
Fight, as most male animals, you need to fight to get what you want, encounter other males and fight for territory and females, or fight just because.
Hunt prey, or run away from predators that want to eat you.
Patrol your territory and chase off intruders.
I made this game because there weren’t many animal type games, and the few that we’re published, I already went through.
I plan on adding in the future:
Sibling names
Up to 30 animals, only herbivores and carnivores.
Generations-After your death, you can have the chance to carry on living as your baby if you have any.
Multiple babies-I want to add that after your first babies grow into adults, you can get pregnant again and have more until you age into an elder.
Dog-cat breeds-Choose a specific breed of dog or cat you would like to be.
Shows-As most types of dogs, you can perform in shows.
Live with breeders-You can have your animal experience living as breeding stock, you can live with a good breeder or a bad one, I’ll try to do a random bit for that. Living as breeding stock means the human controls who you breed and have offspring with.
Natural disasters-Mudslides, tornadoes, sandstorms, blizzards, etc these will have a chance of killing you if your a baby or killing your babies if you’re an adult with offspring.
Personality-Your animal will have a personality, say you want your Wolf, to be flirty, the wolf will be liked more by the opposite gender with a higher breeding success rate, meaning more babies.
Currently, it’s about 5% done (just the intro), 0 Chapters, 17000 Words, and I plan on updating every day of the week unless I become too busy.
Only the customization is finished, but feel free to let me know what you think, also, Name suggestions! I’m not too comfortable with the title of the game yet, so any name suggestions are appreciated, and animal suggestions as well.
((P.S. I’m not sure if I should put this for adults because it does mention as a baby your sucking on your mother’s teet. And also the parts that I plan to include for birth, I may add a little bit of detail on breeding as well.))
