Oh, I absolutely love it tbh, just hope there might be a payoff for sticking to AA romance but even if not I’ll still stay true to best girl/boy. Also I know it’s been a few days but just wanted to confirm that it is indeed working now and I’m glad I got to see more of caph and it made me realize I have a problem. Her helping the kid made think “she might be a devil but I can fix her”

I hope you’re all enjoying the story of BTI so far, I did have a question regarding pacing. Because I’m writing a lot of branching paths, it’s hard for me to get a good grasp of the pacing for a single play through. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the story’s pacing and other parts regarding the structure, plot, etc.

I won’t lie I was excited for the ib romance. I remember mentioning it to you about a year or so ago. I decided not read it in that time frame because I wanted it to get more fleshed out.

You know I’ve been wondering something. AA is also said to be Apollo/Anna’s gamertag so since it’s a canon thing I’ve been wondering how it’s pronounced. Like is it just straight A A (ay ay) or is it something more like double a (like the battery)

Hii, I only wanted to show my love for this story, the creativity of the powers is just so good to see, the way it shows how much though you dedicate to them is incredible, the powers are a big part of the story and you wanted to pit a lot of focus on them and I really appreciate it. i have like 2959271 files with different paths cause I ADORE all of them. My fav is Arbiter tho, the way you play with their limits is just SO GOOD
I also need to mention the way you dont care about the headache the coding and ramifications of all the different paths you are creating, a lot of authors give you some choices, but the majority of the time all the choices goes to the same end with the same points, but here? You have different stories depending on even the powers to chose and I really really love it, so thank you for all your hard work (chapter 10 is just *chef kiss)
But the cherry on top are the characters, both platonic and romantic
I just… Love them all? I literally feel even bad cause I love Apollo so much that I even did their route/story first, and now I feel like a cheater cause I like every guy in this story 
What is even more, every character has a very specific and special romantic route
Abel? Is the cute tsundere route where both of them seems to be friends who likes to fight but little by little they start discovering that’s more than friendship, extra points with that feelings so weird Abel is starting to feel and don’t know what to feel, the scene where he started to know what mc felt with AA?
That was just, a masterpiece if you ask me. It’s like that first love, hard to understand, that messes you up inside and you don’t even know why? I don’t know why, but I can’t help but draw parallels between them and MC relationship with AA.
Syo? That’s a difficult one to express, is like hot and cold, a part of me seems to think Syo see that relationship as similar an adult watching a child wanting something and just playing with them only to satisfy their curiosity until the child grows boring of it other part of me thinks he really wants to something more to happen with MC but the circumstances doesn’t let it happen
H is still very soon to say anything but i just adore their moe gap.I’m quite curious about them. I love how easily they blush, and I find it super interesting that he’s rank 10. And what about MC’s interactions when he ignores the social rules that seem to exist between low and high ranks? Yeah, give me more of that! I love how in the painter’s route, when you go to the demon nest, you can choose between saving H from the fire, and their reaction is like
, AHHH, they are so cute!
But if it wasn’t hard to choose a romance… You stab me again with an AA memory and i feel bad all over again for even thinking of being a cheater 
AA deserves everything in this world
Ps I think i found an error, in the Painter route, in the film part, if you choose "How about next time, we make it so nobody has to sacrifice themselves?” you can’t continue and you need to refresh the page

Thank you for the kind words! It’s good to know that you like the diverging stories depending on the Contract you form. I don’t think I’ve played any stories where you get a specific part of the story that changes depending on the Contract. I’d like to think it adds more flavor to the story
Also, I’m glad that you enjoy the characters and their romances. I’m not that experienced in writing romance, so it’s nice to see that I created something that resonated with a lot of people. I did want to make it feel somewhat realistic in terms of moving on with love rather than letting the MC hop on to the next RO. Also, thank you for the bug report, I’ll be sure to look into it

Okay I came into this mildly curious but not having high expectations, I gotta say that I thoroughly enjoyed this. There were some nice moments of levity between the serious scenes (always enjoy when even serious characters can be a little goofy), and I never thought I’d say this, but the constant flashbacks to A were actually really nice. Now I’d love to go on with more thoughts, but something was on my mind literally the entire time I was reading, so I gotta get this out. Excuse me for a moment while I got into
The Chainsaw Man rant
There are so many parallels to Chainsaw Man that it’s crazy; between the devil contracts, the devils being born from human concepts/fears, the organization tasked with hunting them down, it’s great! Then the ROs:
- the cheery one with an eyepatch after sacrificing an eye for a contract
- the more reserved mature one
- the rowdy and somewhat childish one
- the anxious one that gets bullied and is prone to panic but is low-key a beast when they lock in
If I can’t use a chainsaw to attack someone at least once, then I will riot.
Back to our regularly scheduled rant. I love how there’s three different powers, and even within those, you get multiple options on how to handle fights with those powers is always fun; the fact that each has its own restriction which actually carries weight is really nice and actually had me wondering how you’d get around them. I chose the painter for reference, and as cool as it is summoning basically anything from my imagination, I had to seriously consider if it was worth losing my ability to write anything ever. That is a heavy downside that I’m glad gets woven into the story going forward.
It’s also interesting to see how the MC is very keenly aware of the fact that there’s levels to this sh!t. The MC is busy fighting for their life trying to win every fight and barely makes it through by the skin of their teeth, and it’s only gonna get worse from there. I have the feeling of being a small fish in the ocean and it’s clear the MC’s frustration is building, but I can’t say it’s a problem either because the story also goes out of its way to point out that the MC is still leaps and bounds ahead of where they’d be under normal circumstances, and it’s been just under two months iirc while everyone else is a veteran. Can’t wait to see if the MC ever hits the big leagues.
I genuinely love all the flashbacks to the MC’s time with A; it really fleshes out how and why they were friends (or more, depending on your choices) and it makes the prologue hit even harder since it heavily contextualizes why the MC’s even here and why it hurts so much that this person isn’t around anymore. It takes a special kind of care to introduce an RO who dies within 10 minutes and yet they’re still one of the best characters with the best interactions…which says a lot because I love seeing interactions with all of these guys. Watching Syo literally beg for help when paired with Tenth in a cooking challenge has to be one of the best things I’ve read in a bit; I can’t tell if he was serious or not, and that makes it even better.
If I have one singular request, it’s that I want to double down on going down the self-destructive and obsessive path of revenge. “I’m sorry did I ask you for a break from training? I want nothing more than to kill a singular person, and I will literally sacrifice everything that I am to do so. I don’t care if I die in the process of killing them, or if I even live long enough to do it myself; so long as they die, I don’t care if I live to see it, but as long as I am alive, I will spend every waking moment doing everything in my power to see them dead. I have no expectations of surviving, nor any aspirations for anything beyond revenge. I want blood, and I need to be strong to draw blood, so get back to training me!” Yes I want the MC to level grind until they’re at their peak or they’re dust, because revenge is a dish best served by jamming a paintbrush somewhere the sun don’t shine, and the journey there is going to be agonizing otherwise. Which reminds me, I’m not sure if the MC has considered what happens if they actually manage their initial goal. Eh, I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Anyways, I think that’s enough ranting, and I still have to check out the AA route, so I’ll end this long rant by saying “Thank you…Before the Incident”
