@TheronWinter Making Ib switch sides would change a lot of the story. At that point, the story would shift dramatically. It’d be an interesting topic to write about, but I do want to flesh out the core story before I branch off into these possibilities. Also, I am happy that you mentioned Hector/Helen’s question because it would definitely be interesting to explore that idea if someone so heinous can change for the better.
Exploring Ib in that manner would be interesting, if there’s enough interest/success to the story, I wouldn’t be opposed to adding free new content of this path. I did brainstorm a tidbit of the story near the end where a possible romance between the two could bloom. One of the alternative endings could explore some of it!
I never expected for Ib to receive a decent amount of popularity, but it’s good to know that they have fans!

Apologies for my absence and silence, lots of life things as per usual. I have added chapters 6,7, and 8 to the story. There are still aspects I need to still add to the story, but I got impatient (Plus I felt it fitting to upload an update on Valentine’s Day). Turns out I prefer to update the story in smaller chunks than churning out massive updates. This update is about 82k words. I’ll gradually add more QOL parts for the demo and the extra stuff, but my main goal was getting the bare bones of Act 2 done.
Main things I’m looking for is any major game breaking bugs.
With that, I wish you all a happy Valentine’s Day, why not spend it with Anna/Apollo!
@Queen_Zelda No problem! I felt it appropriate to upload the update today, although I’m already finding some typos and bugs I will have to fix those and roll out another update soon. I’m hesitant to update it right now since I don’t want to interrupt some readers’ playthroughs!

@Khotun Unfortunately, I really wanted to upload the update, I had to leave it on a cliffhanger As for Arbiter’s power, I would say it has the strongest potential, but also one of the hardest powers to write as well. I am excited to reveal the power up the MC will receive later on in the story!
Yeah, I was surprised despite how much I wrote, there was still a cliffhanger at the update! And yes, the flashbacks will keep coming in future updates!
