I really haven’t planned out anything for a Medusa Legendary Beast option, but that’s not to say I won’t consider it.
If I did, then her snakes would react according to her decisions, kinda like the Chimera but obviously with more snakes.
Really haven’t planned as far as saying that if for any reason they died they would grow back, but it sounds like a cool concept.
And with brain freeze? Who knows…
Well If you’re going to add Medusa I think the name of the creature is Gorgon which would be pretty cool if it got added.

It’s gorgon but there are two different versions of a gorgon seen. One with a snakes tail in replace of legs and with snakes for hair. The other has wings and snakes for hair (with normal legs)
Whenever I think of Chimera I think of the Dragons Dogma Version or the one with lion head, snake tail, and only goat hind legs, I always thought they has lion body
I like to think a chimera would like that.
As long as there’s a fire breathing dragon then I’m happy
@ChimeraLord The Chimera’s in Beast Within will be Lion head and front legs, Goat Hind legs and a dual Snake tails. The Snake tails will be classed as permanent characters to the player.
@BrandonbigK I wasn’t going to use Medusa herself as a character, but rather her species. Thanks for telling me it is a Gorgon though, saves me forgetting later.
@BlackHeart Not sure which Gorgon to use, or maybe to sculpt an entirely different one. Then again, I might just make a new Species instead. I’ll know when the time comes…

Also, I have began re-drafting the introduction scene to make it seem more ‘story-like’ rather than ‘Oh, would you look at that! Your a Wolf!’. I haven’t actually finished this yet, but its up anyway if you wish to see the style I’ve gone for.

The beta was made public last night for PC and xbox one, so there is still a chance to play it! I’m having tons of fun, and i’m so glad that it wasn’t another hype train wreckage. Roll on march!

After testing the game out just then, I realised that there’s been a huge error since yesterday when I updated the Introduction files. It wouldn’t let you start the game, but I’ve fixed it now. To anyone who did experience the problem, it has been fixed.
I’ve completely finished the final drafts for the Character Creation, Prologue and most of Chapter 1 ~ Part 1 too. All that’s left to do is add the next wave of Primals tonight, then I’ll be all set for the completion of Chapter 1 ~ Part 2 and the Hydrani Chapter 1. So sorry it’s taking ages for such a small amount of work!
Also, I’ve added a few extra branches in the current part. They’re very specific to obtain, but it’d be good to see if anybody finds them.
