Yay it’s update time. To be fair there is quite a lot here so it’s understandable if u get struck. I’ll play and give feedback. Putting the gods in stats to view whenever is a good idea and its quite a bit of information that might be useful later. I just played and noticed how different it is and I hope its not too much to ask but could u add the option to hide stat and relationship changes. Some people might prefer not to see them while playing since it could break the story telling element. Question will any of the stats make things play out a certain way and how important of a role will they play?
Right now the plan is to basically have the Gods take an interest in the whelp if they took an interest in the Gods.
So down the line there’ll be some adventures depending on which Gods you picked. (two per playthrough)
When i read the description for Zojaabra’s statue, the bronze sculptures of Luo Li Rong were the first to pop in my mind
o - o - o - o - o
And here are the namesakes of Kalis and Balasio(ng), the Naga ambassadors who appeared in the latest update.
̶S̶o̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶h̶,̶ ̶i̶’̶m̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶p̶e̶d̶ ̶n̶a̶m̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶N̶a̶g̶a̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶.̶.̶.̶.̶
Padamonos and Sarymine are such a delight! I have not done a grey/bronze flight playthrough yet, but it’s going to be my next one for sure.
Regarding the Gods, I do not think it’s too wordy rn, but honestly how much attention I pay in future reruns might depend on if there is any variation depending on the flight, etc (so far I only played blue and iirc they and the black flight did not get any mentions? I might have just missed it though, I was reading while quite tired)
If you are worried about the lore expositions being too long, an option to skip it if you’ve read those before and just go to the god selections might work? And I do like the idea of having them in the codex if a refresher is needed.
Okay, did some brainstorming:
Will rewrite the gods section to let the player pick the order. First playthrough you have to click through all of them, second playthrough it’ll check if you did via achievement checks and you can skip things.

I went with a blue/silver dragons MC (called them Morabres, if curious) to start, which for the most part, very sparkly and comfy. I love our brother, abracadabri. My whelp and I are very curious about the weave. MC copying Alerhon when he tucked his tail when entering the Library was very sweet and funny. I feel like he’s teaching them an unnecessary (for the whelp, at least) habit, perhaps? The active architecture sounds like it’ll be a lot of fun for exploration.
LOL’d at Vaelias getting absolutely roasted in a description
His skin has color the same way mold has, his frame is a little slumped and you could like store and entire clutch of dragon eggs in the bags under his eyes.
Most of the quick notes I took were things that I found funny, tbh, eg:
Adilthia wild. I’m imagining the person on leash meme but instead of the person holding the leash standing up, it would be Anveras getting dragged on the ground behind her. I will eventually attempt to make the visual ![]()
‘Unless you’re mom and Addy is talking out of her ass’ (LOL get 'em, anveras)
Uncle Paddy is absolutely a bad influence for my MC. I enjoyed the glimpse into their relationship from a blue’s perspective, and am probably gonna try a grey whelp next time I play. I found the museum scene being told by Sarimyne and him engaging, and probably a lot more entertaining than if Vaelias did
BUT, really? right in front of my whelp? @ their implied light make out.
EDIT I meant to ask you about the pronunciation of the character’s name while initially writing this, but forgot to along the way.
Typos
Astia let’s out a long sight and looks at you.
"The once you saw earlier are enough.
Vaelias is visibly shakes [I think shaken or removing the is would work better?]
And Aldithia is just annoyed about not getting her will, you muse. [her way?]
You look first around again, and then at Vaelias. [that first feels off?]
By all means he looks worse to wear than Vaelias [worse for wear? or is it an alternative idiom]
“I-I could just let Addy get herself into trouble. She’s the only twin sister I have. She… She… I dunno…” [missing the n’t, i think?]
This on in particular has very lightly tanned skin,
but Padamonos whacks his finger. [is the guard pointing a finger or does he whack MC with his finger?]
“You are commendable ridiculous,” [commendably?]
“You brought that one about yourself, love.” [it gets converted here, but that didn’t get bolded/italicized in the games text but is enclosed by *]
turning her head to return the kiss and gett her mate to giggle giddily just the same.
Thanks a lot for the feedback ![]()
I’ll try to get the typos fixed asap and set up a pronunciation guide. Any names you are especially curious about (this goes for everyone reading :3 )
And without spoilers… Paddy and Sari just are like that.
Also: Abracadabri, that’s really adorable ![]()
Mostly the green and grey flight names have me unsure of their pronunciation ![]()
Was Abracadabri Acazabri’s name inspired by Alakazam, btw?
I’ll edit in the pronunciation into this post later I’m on mobile atm.
As for Ace… I think I based the name on some alchemy thing??? gonna check later, too.
Edit:
Okay, according to my notes Acazabri is based on ‘Acazdi’ (tin) as found in the ‘Lexicon of Alchemy’
As for the dragon names:
Padamonos : Pah-dah-monos (Funfact, according to a greek friend it can be translated as ‘Forever Alone’ which is entirely unintentional)
Sarimyne: Sari (like the clothing item) me-ne (ne like in never)
Wynnenos : Win-ne-nos
Kalrimonos : Cal (like in Calcium) ri (like in rip) monos.
Kallinos : Cal-lee-nos
Rhidiyope : Ri-dee-yo-pea
Aramyne: Ah-rah-me-ne
Mimelumi: Me-meh-lumi (like luminescence)
Madalumi: Mah-dah-lumi
Auromu: Auro (like aura) mu (like music)
Mubiru: Mu-bi-ru (like rummage)
Teialumi: Tea (like the drink)-ah-lumi
Hope I didn’t forget anyone?
I find it a tad confusing that the character creator mentions metallic dragons yet our hatchling is a chromatic. For example, if I choose Red/Gold, the character will always be Red. My guess is that either the author is attempting a combination of both - Red in body, Gold in spirit (ideals) - or we may change down the road.
I’m going to be honest, I find the reference between chromatic and metallic to be somewhat redundant unless you’re specifically referencing DND for the purpose of familiarity. It’s a different universe, with different lore; red dragons can be good dragons without mentioning their metallic counterpart. Or maybe I’m the one who is too focused on DND…
The dragons of Sildrys don’t follow the same system as those of Abeir-Toril or Exandria, they are much more akin to those of Azeroth. (Yes, WoW dragons have been the main inspiration here. :3 )
As for just the coloration itself, down the line the whelp can get different colorations to their scales etc. As seen with some of the older dragons.
Padamonos, for example, has a distinct bronze shimmer to his otherwise more mother-of-pearl scales.
So it’s literally all just the coloration-span of the flights
Ah, that makes sense. NGL, I kind want to go full gold-sheen just so I can pretend to be an expensive-looking dragon. cha-ching noises
Go for it XD
I almost said go for gray, they deck themselves out much more frivolously. Though Paddy does skew the statistics a little bit.
Given Paddy’s proclivity for stealing, I have a sneaking feeling a gold-dragon would have to watch their tails in his presence or end up dragon-napped. xD
Others learned to not wear anything they can’t keep an eye on in his presence.
Salbri just enchanted his stuff with giving electric shocks. Question is if Paddy learned his lesson there.
EDIT: I should note there ARE some WoW related easter eggs in the game ![]()
Lmao! Same. This is one of the reasons why I chose to play as a red flight dragon. ![]()
Me: “I’m worth a billion gold. I deserve to be treated like a royalty!”
Also:
‘Abracadabri’ is absolutely something Phyron would call Acazabri without any actual ill intention. He’s just like that when he’s not making really dumb decisions.
Who wants to see the updated version for Chakythinos’s entry? The rework to let the whelp pick the order of introductions brought this from 139 words to 931 (both paddy’s explanation and kassias’s version). Enjoy
So much talking <3

Chakythinos, sitting above the entrance, is a haggard looking man with short-cropped hair in a wide robe under a tight doublet, sleeves rolled up. He's holding a quill and tablet, an hourglass, a small scale and various scrolls fastened to his belt. There's something very strict in his gaze, the high cheekbones and sharp nose adding to it.
"Old Chakys is the God of Time and Law, History, Justice, all that stuff," Padamonos notes. "Our flight takes the whole naming conventions from him, though he's the patron of the red flight. Stuffy fellow, if ye ask me. Glad the red flight had to latch onto the whole Law and Order domain thing. Wouldn't have minded had we gotten Time. Time shenanigans are fun. Space's fine, too, though."
There's a strange smile flitting over the gray Patriarch's lips at that.
"You seem strangely amused?" you @{(bold >55) observe|dare}.
"Oh, I am," Padamonos goes, leaning back against the railing. @{god_eha "As said, old|"Old} Chakys here holds quite a grudge against dear old me."
"Why, though?" You venture.

"Because Padamonos is a liar, a thief and generally a ne'er-do-well," someone calls and you turn to find Kassias arriving with Sarimyne, Alerhon and Vaelias in tow.
"I do what I can," Padamonos responds with a bow.

Padamonos shrugs dramatically.
@{god_sal "I am aligning much more with Salein, naturally, and|"I'm widely regarded as a blackguard and ne'er-do-well and some other not as nice terms for things, and} ol' Chakys here doesn't necessarily take too kindly to that."
"Oh."
"Yep." Padamonos chuckles. "Well, with that said, who'd ye like to hear about next?"

"My dear Padamonos is an outright scoundrel," Sarimyne explains, giggling as the gray Patriarch leans in and pecks a kiss to her nose.
"It's one of me best qualities, luv," he chuckles. "And I believe one of the reasons ye took a liking to me even before I became the head of our flight."
Sarimyne smiles slyly and a little wistfully.
"That is true," she says and turns back to you. "But, as you might already have guessed, a God of Law and Order might not take kindly to someone with such a... reputation."
Padamonons barks a laugh and strikes a playful salute up at the statue.
"Well then," he addresses you,

but pauses, turning to Sarimyne instead. "Me love, could ye see if our hosts are on their way? See how much time we got to do some more storytelling."
Sarimyne smiles knowingly, takes a step to the side and vanishes in a slight swirl of sand.
Padamonos, meanwhile, claps his hands. "Now, let's make good use of the time we got."
You arch a brow.
"You're not going to steal anything, right?"
Padamonos blows a raspberry, waving you off.
"Pishposh. Unless ye'd like to? No. Ah well. I mean I couldn't anyway. There's a spell that keeps me from traversing the museum without permission or dedicated company, like dear Sari. So, no, if I'd try to leave this hall, I'd find meself thrown back, quite painfully, to me room." Absentmindedly he rubs his rear. "Let's maybe not do that."
"Oh."
"Yes. So, who d'ye want to hear 'bout next?"

"Impressive bore, if ye ask me," Padamonos notes before you can answer, earning a sour glare from Kassias.
"I was not asking you." Kassias quirks a brow, and looks at you. "I do not know what else the gray flight's patriarch here has told you, but let it be known that most of what comes out of his mouth is a lie. One of the many reasons he's at odds with Chakythinos."
"I... don't see the connection?" you venture.
"Chakythinos is the God of Law, Justice and Order, and the Keeper of Time and History," Kassias explains. "He is the patron of @{(flight =1) our|my} flight, though for some reason the gray flight decided to take their nomenclature from him."
"Ain't ye grateful for that?" Padamonos banters. "Imagine yer name would be 'Kassinos'."
Kassias scoffs, brow knitted darkly, but Padamonos banters on.
"We also take a cue from Nimeyope over yonder," he goes gesturing at the statue @{god_nim clockwise from Chakythinos|in question} with an impish smile, "Which I reckon ye'd find much more suitable."

honestly, Acazabri’s name slipped from my mind while I was reading and my brain just slotted the misnomer into place and now I can’t let it go ![]()
Phyron sounds like a fellow silly guy, but what’s this I’m hearing about attempted infanticide?
<3
And I advice playing as black whelp if you haven’t yet :3 Phyron is well-meaning, but he’s very hotheaded. He’ll get better
