Also, @MeltingPenguins is doing art comms to raise funds. I volunteered to draw the dragons if requested. I forgot to ask if the coms open to donation of any amount or has a higher price tag so ask MP beforehand. I will be drawing the dragon, whelp or drakeling (or what were the dragonborn looking form called, I forgot) in full body. Like pathfinders portraits, but simple background. I don’t mind taking human guise request but MP would be the one doing them by default, again ask her.

No matter how young you might be, something tells you that you will never see anyone be this gleeful about… anything, really.
Context: Vaelias, in a panic, left the winter whelp with padamonos.
Commendable daft idea.
Also Padamonos is forbidden to enter the Court’s museum. He knows what he did.

You ponder this, nestled into the crook of Padamonos’s arm, when you reach a large archway and get stopped by two guards.
“Lord Padamonos, you are not allowed anywhere near the museum,” one of the guards states, gruffly. “You are well aware of that.”
“I am.” Padamonos smiles brilliantly. “However, young Vaelias sought to entrust a responsible adult with the winter whelp, having to alert Her Majesty and Lord Kassias to dire news. He, in his panic, however, entrusted little old me with the child. I believe ye’ll agree that this was not a wise decision, and I am certain young Vaelias might already have noticed his mistake. Now, as I believe me dear Sarimyne is currently visiting the museum, I would like to ask you to bring her here, so I can entrust her with the little one till Vaelias returns.”
As if to underline his remake Padamonos demonstratively lifts you up to the guards’s eye-level.
The guards both blink and look at one another.
“You… could wait here till Vaelias finds you?” one of them tries, but Padamonos whacks his finger.
“Cannot do. As Patriarch of the gray flight I do have responsibilities, even in these times of merrymaking. I cannot just stand around and wait for Vaelias to come find me.”
“Why… why did you not wait where you’ve been?”
“And leave the poor darling in the care of someone as irresponsible as me?” Padamonos scoffs, scandalized. “I beg yer pardon. Winter whelp or not, that is quite crude.”
He’s such a little shit, I love him.

Needless to say Vaelias is gonna be in some trouble for that slip up abandoning like that. Still makes u wonder what on earth he did to get banned. These teasers are making me want to play again even with nothing new yet and most bugs\typos dealt with.

Hard at writing, but I need some direct feedback:
The grin spreading on Padamonos’s face tells you asking this might @{(ser <45) have, potentially,|have} been a mistake.
“Ohoho,” he cackles, jumping over the railing (just next to one of the small stairs) and clapping his hands, excitedly. “This, my dear,” he begins, gesturing grandiosely, “is none other than Salein. The Eternal Disequilibrium. God of Thieves, Merchants, Trickery and Secrets. The true Chaos not even Nimeyope could ever hold domain over. And, thus naturally, the dearest Patron of Yours Truly.”
Padamonos sweeps a deep and elegant bow, holding your gaze. For a moment, for just the briefest of moments, there is something in his eyes that seems so much more ancient, more wicked and strange than the Lord of the gray flight had struck you as so far. And he is enjoying every breathing moment of it.
Does this make sense?

Hey everyone.
Pushing another partial update (bringing things up to 62k words total, 28k per read), because this one is giving me a headache.
This update is meant to introduce the whelp/player to a bit more of the world, albeit by means of visiting a museum and library. And that is very much where I am stuck.
In the current version you look at all statues and get some basic information, but it feels a bit like a drag. Quite a lot, actually.
So I really do need thorough feedback on this one.
One thing I could do is put up a plaque with the Gods’ names and let the player pick till they’ve seen all, have the Gods be listed in the Stats once you’ve looked at them directly?
As said, this one I need feedback on even more than usual.
I’m sorry.
This update adds a few new variables, so please start from scratch.
