Found a bug for the moral stat. Each time we do something bad we feel guilty for breaking our moral code when we start with low moral. This doesn’t make sense for that kind of mc since they are usually selfish and look out for themselves.
Could you point me to the scene/scenes, where you noticed this? It may be a bug, or it may simply not be implemented yet. In most cases, I’ve only written the part for a moral character so far, as I want to focus on finishing this before moving on to a immoral character.
That’s probably it then. The immoral mc hasn’t been written yet so it just displays the moral mc response to a bad thing. I guess I should be more patient in the future. Sorry wasting time. I tested the neighbour murder scene, the fight in front of the supermarket and stealing from the trunk at the supermarket.
No problem, you’re not wasting my time. I like to engage with the community, and I’m thankful for every input I can get.
Hello guys! Just wanted to give a quick update on what I’ve been working on this past few days. So while revisiting the police officer I thought that the scene at the supply distribution site isn’t as fleshed out as some of the other scenes. Therefore, I restructured the scene quite a bit and added new choices and ways to deal with the situation. This will be the main content change in the upcoming update, which will be released sometime during this week.
Hey Guys! The new update will take me a little bit longer. This is mostly due to me adding more stuff than originally planned, so it’s for good reasons
Hello everyone! Sorry for the longer period of not posting anything, but over the last two weeks I reduced my writing speed a bit, to do some other things besides writing and coding. So, the new update is still some days or weeks away. The work on the police officer scene also proved to be more difficult than anticipated, because of the amount of changes I decided to do. Lots of the stuff will be visible to you, but there’s also stuff going on under the hood, that’s taking time to code. Right now the game stands at 120k words, so 17k more since the last update.
Ooh very good, can’t wait for more. Hope the MC’s parents and Mark survive. Too many IFs kill off the family members. Either way I’m looking forward to the full release.
Thanks for your support!
This wip looks promising and I love the MC I created (police officer with good combat skills and high charisma). There was many option in character creation I liked it
welp I’m excited in the next update. The WIP and every profession was good keep it up!!!
New Update on the Horizon! A Brief Explanation for the Recent Silence.
Dear Community,
I hope everyone is doing well. First and foremost, I’d like to apologize for the delay since my last update. Part of the reason was my two-week vacation. But there are more reasons for the hiatus.
My commitment to delivering an authentic and immersive experience has led me to conduct in-depth research, using a publicly available database, particularly regarding potential targets during a nuclear war in the USA. This research, coupled with the use of the “Nuclear War Simulator”, is aimed at making the world of the story as scientifically grounded and realistic as possible. However, this detailed and intricate research has been time-consuming, which has, unfortunately, reduced my writing time.
While the findings from my extensive database research and the simulator won’t feature immediately in the next updates, they will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of future segments.
As previously announced, the upcoming update will primarily focus on expanding and enhancing the prologue for the police officer. I believe these improvements will elevate your gaming experience and provide a deeper understanding of the point of view of a law enforcenent officer in such a scenario.
I appreciate your patience – the update is on its way! Your continued support and understanding are invaluable to me.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Exciting times lie ahead!
I’m rather avoid these “WIDE VARIETY RPG STATS vibe” because it’s always end up useless in the most stats and occupation build. But this is GOOD. Unique dialog in most job, Pretty strong introduction, but sadly I’m confused in some area where am i the character or am i playing someone else? (It’s WIP I understand ya) it’s pretty solid and got me hooked than…zombi…ahem…nvm.
Let’s see how it’s turn out to be in the next year where it got a lot of potential, would it be pure gold bar or is it just an exterior parts.
But hey keep up the good work we be on look out for ya…
Christopher columbus…a man who looking for spice and copper but found gold instead.
Seattle, your home city
I would never
You’re definitely on a list now
Hello everyone,
the new update is now live! The police officer prologue content has been enhanced by over 20k words. So, please test that part exclusively for now, as I need feedback regarding bugs and potential loopholes.
My character was a police officer lul NICE
Nice. Now I can continue my adventure as that role. Thanks
The morality bug is still here. I chose the bad moral path at the start but I stole the family’s stuff at the market my character didn’t act selfishly like he was supposed to and said he broke his moral compass. This was on the police role.
Okay, thanks for letting me know. I will fix this in the next update.
