I was a bit alarmed when I reread this thread and found that Supernatural Bad Touch Man (who came across as a terrifyingly effective antagonist) was in fact a romance option.

So Einar loves so strongly he has two versions of his route… So you mean one, in which we only get killed slightly horrific as opposed to the other version in which we just get killed horrifically? xD
Pulled out an update in time for the holidays! I think I’ve fixed most of the bugs, but in case I didn’t, please tell me about them and any spelling mistakes.
I’ve cut down the pacing a lot, so this first chapter only goes up until Oskar leaves. The next chapter is probably going to triple in length, since that’s when the other ROs are introduced. In my outlines, I’ve planned for seven chapters, of course, that’s if you survive until then 
.
The next update will be small, mostly fleshing out a few parts I’m not happy with, rebalancing stats and relationships, and adding in the few parts that I’ve yet to write.

Oskar keeps making me swoon and father makes me boil with anger! Boo!
Also at the sewing part when deciding to stay its not very clear about who we are talking about if you choose the I hate it option it took me a while to figure it out.
So far my character is growing into a somewhat spiteful girl towards anyone who treats her like crap, namely Oscar for bullying her and her father for treating her like some unwanted vermin. Rebelious and independent she loves her siblings (the ones that came after her not so much) nature, books and to learn about things she ins’t supposed to (i.e, eavesdropping).
I’m wondering whether I should keep her as a bookworm (agent/spy archetype) or if it would be more fitting to turn her into a warrior type. She did spend a majority of her summers standing up to her cousin and fighting back after all. I also sincerely hope we get a chance to tell Burkand (or whatever his name; the father) to fall in a well and stay there (other similar insults are welcome).
Kinda sad to see this demo didn’t went as far as the old one.
Love the new demo, it’s making me think that the MC is the child of the king.
What king? If it’s Burkand you’re talking about then yes, the MC is one of his kids.

Yeah I got that.^^ I was mainly joking since Einar only had bad ends when he was first introduced as Bad Touch Man. 
Will the MC still automatically end up on Einars “route” if she fails to court one of the other four guys?
And is the stepmother pulling a similar stunt that Cersei pulled?
She look like she’s doing the similar to what Cersei did. I hope our father doesn’t have a… horrible death.

The new demo is amazing!! I’m glad our MC could be named Valeria; it’s a very pretty and unique name. (By the way, I love how name choice affect the stats! It’s a clever way to boost your skills while also adding depth to the default names.)
I’m trying so hard to get on my stepmother’s good side. She is a lot like Cersei, and I’ve always had a soft spot for that conniving Lannister. Also, I can’t stand it when people hate me, lol.
Also, has anyone found a way to raise your relationship with your father to anything higher than 50? And how high can your relationship stats go with Regina?
All in all, this is a very splendid game. I love your prose, it’s so elegant. I’m sad that we can’t have black hair, though, uncommon as that may be among the nobility. 
But the honey or strawberry blonde options are starting to grow on me. Now I can vicariously look like a Lannister!
But speaking of character’s external appearance, I was wondering if there will be any future choices where we could dress the PC and have it affect our stats (like in Choice of Romance)?

You’re right, I did another round and apparently the step-mother was pushed into marrying Burkand for his wealth, though she admits not loving him. I think it was fairly common thing in the old times to see men re-marrying after the death of their spouses, specially if they were either from nobility or royalty. Arranged marriages were a good way of attaining prestige, titles and wealth after all (though in this case it’s mostly for the benefit of the step-mother’s family).
He was either forced to get another wife in order to maintain his image or because he was looking for someone to help him get over his former’s wife death, the one he hated as much as he loved. Maybe he didn’t wanted to be surrounded by the children that reminded him of her, specially the last one, who caused her death and whose physical resemble has been hinted at a few times.
On a side note, I have a feeling those gifts that keep showing up signed as “B” are from him. There’s only two people on the list whose name starts with B and aside from Benedikt, the beloved elder brother, the only one left is the father - Burkand. A part of him still loves Annika and, in some twisted way, there’s a chance that love has extended to his child as well, if nothing else than due to their similarities. He struggles with it though.
With this update I am so suspicious of our step mother… in the option to leave our bedroom when we eavesdrop her conversation and then hear all those… sighs. 
… are Gisela and the lil bro even half siblings to us 
I wonder if we get to interact with Gisela more in the future. I really liked how we get so many more interactions in the new demo so being able to spend more time with everyone else would be even cooler.
