Can I ask please, will Hosted Games also go on sale please? I almost exclusively play Hosted Games and they are not on sale. In past they always went on sale during seasonal Steam sales, so I am curious if they will go on sale too?

Hi, thank you for pointing this out! That was an error on our end.
Hosted Games, as well as Heart’s Choice, are now included in the Steam sale with Choice of Games titles.

Question:
If I buy the game on steam will I still be able to play it on browser/phone or will I need to buy it separately?

You don’t have to buy it separately - you can buy on Steam, then email the receipt to Support. Once it’s on your Choice of Games account, you can then play it on your phone browser or one of the apps.

It usually isn’t even necessary anymore to contact Support directly - you can use the website to “Restore purchases from Steam.”

I didn’t know that, I always buy on my phone.

Hello. I would like to unlock a few games on my COG account after having purchased them from Steam. I sent an email to support asking what exactly I need to send as proof of purchase but haven’t gotten a reply back. Is there anyone I can reach out to?

You need to forward or take a screenshot of your Steam receipt, or if you login here you can click to restore your purchases.

I recommend using the link Harris provided to restore your purchases to your account yourself; I can help you through the process if you haven’t done it before and have trouble figuring it out.

If you’d rather have CoG staff do it manually, I can tell you exactly what you need to send. You know how after you make a purchase on Steam, you get an email from “Steam Support” with a subject line of “Thank you for your Steam purchase”? Just forward that email to Support and you’ll be good to go.

If you sent your message to Support any time in the last 60 hours, give or take, it’s no surprise you haven’t heard back yet, since it’s the weekend.

Ahh okay that makes sense. I thought about doing it directly but I didn’t want to link the Steam account I used to purchase these games to my COG account because I barely use Steam. Honestly I would have preferred to purchase the games directly but only Steam had the discounts so I just bought it from there.

Anyway, thank you both @HarrisPS and @AletheiaKnights for your help. I’ll forward the Steam purchase email right away.
