Just a question would anyone want a option just to abuse your familiar? Like as a example the familiar fails to gather information and you just slap them with all your strength.
I mean I would never want to do that but idk some people might??? So should I have it as a option???

As an author, what purpose does providing that choice serve? If the answer to this question is because someone might want to abuse an animal in a game, ask yourself if that is how you want your game to be viewed as.
It is your story and your choice to make but unless there is a purpose for this choice to exist, other then “because”, I’d seriously caution you against doing this.

Well I never really thought of it until today were I watched this witch movie and a witch slapped her monkey familiar out of frustration cuz she just discovered the protagonist escaped. She slapped the monkey and he was crying on the floor and then she picked him up and said “I’m sorry sweet thing. Don’t worry we’ll find her.”
So I just thought if there were people who wanted to be witches like her so I thought to ask.
