Tbf, Gloria is Army, not Air Force. He has no idea what the Wing is like beyond general specifications (fastest plane, has cloaking tech) which he’d know regardless of whether he’s allowed in it or not.

The true secrets are in the guts of the plane, and those are known only by Nova. Even the Coltellos are having a hard time trying to reverse-engineer it.

Besides, between you and me, the Wing may end up… obsolete, within a few months.

Honestly, that wouldn’t really do any harm to him, not any that wouldn’t be made up by ā€œreal american hero who stood in the frontlines against a terrorist attackā€.

Now, if Stratton found out, then we could work something out…

Don’t worry too much, though. There’s going to come a time where the opinion of the antileaguers is relatively irrelevant to you all.

Of course, that’s gonna be because now you’re dealing with a duo that could pick up Sicily and beat France to death with it, but you know, details.

Here’s a secret: it already is to me. I’m not doing this hero thing for public approval.

Amateur hour. Etna is already kicking Italy’s ass (again), and it didn’t even have to move. And even that’s nothing compared when a volcano in Iceland (I’m not even going to try to spell the name, because lol) decided it wanted to shut down airtravel in Europe, and just did. :volcano: And beating France takes two people AND a moderately-sized island? Pfffft. :stuck_out_tongue:

Y’know, now that you bring up volcanoes… depending on how many comics you read, earthquakes can be part of the weather power package.

An earthquake can trigger a volcano.

Man, I sure am glad there is no super volcano in the United States Yellowstone that could be triggered by a Broken King-caused earthquake which would stop the United States from levying abusive legitimate measures against the Cretan Republic.

Pretty sure you can trigger that one just by decently corking Old Faithful.

I’m going to assume this means ā€œirrelevant at allā€, instead of ā€œirrelevant to the mc/playerā€.

Fagradalsfjall? Eyjafjallajƶkull’s a glacier, not the volcano. (Sorry. Nerding.)

I’m thinking you actually could do that with weather powers without the logical hoops required to include earthquakes in them, but what would I know, I’m not a geologist.

In a way, yeah.

Don’t get me wrong, having the public on your side at first would be very helpful, but, uh…

80% of Americans were against joining the war against the Axis in 1940, for example.

How many do you think changed their minds after Pearl Harbour?

Is Yellowstone overdue for an eruption? When will Yellowstone erupt? | U.S. Geological Survey.
I don’t think that can happen with yellowstone and also from what I can find supervolcanoes are ether false or misinformed about

First, welcome to the forums! I’m glad your first post was in this WIP thread.

Second, to be entirely honest, the man responsible for this may or may not have wiped out the original archipelago 1,053 years ago.

I’m being a little round-about. If the Broken King was interested in destroying America, he’d just cause a North America-sized Hurricane Katrina.

To be fair. America back before World War 2 was pretty isolationist. People didn’t want the nation to get involved because it wasn’t a problem for us as far as I remember, at least from what the average person saw.

The moment the Japanese did their surprise attack, crippled our navy, and killed not just fellow Americans, but our soldiers no less during what was for us, peace time?

Yeah there was no way in hell we weren’t getting involved after that. The War stopped being a distant problem for the average person when news spread that this was happening.

But anyways. I’m sure the average person in this situation of Gloria being attacked with the rest of the G7 would be like >

ā€œOh shit the president was attacked. We actually like him! WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING!ā€
or
ā€œDarn they didn’t get him. I don’t like that guyā€

Dunno about the other nations though, I’m a god fearing, beer drinking, full blooded American. :eagle:

Wait who was the leader of Canada at the G7 meeting

It was Trudeau at the G7 summit for Canada

Known Im just curious if Canada has any superhero

Also Kanaya

For Canada it probable a bit of both (if it is Trudeau in this universe that is the prime minister of Canada) knowing my country.

Okay so I thought you were asking about the irl event so that’s my bad. But I had to start from chapter 4 to see the G7 summit in the game but the Canadian PM isn’t mentioned but since Canada is a G7 member, I’ll assume they were there. And from what I see, Christine is the french PM, Susanne is the German PM and Arthur is the British PM. I forget the name for the Japanese PM and the Australian one is mentioned being shot in chapter 5.

O no worries I was just wondering what the situation of my country was in this universe

@bored92 @Warhound

The Canadian Prime Minister doesn’t appear yet, though they will eventually have a presence once certain events come to a head. Keep in mind these four unlikely allies: the United Kingdom, the French Republic, the Commonwealth of Canada, and the Cretan Republic (which I’m actually coming to realize I don’t like as a name that much so maybe it’ll get changed soon/feel free to give suggestions).

Suffice to say that his life, at least at the moment, happens to be quite easy. Marcus (US President) and Arthur (UK Prime Minister) are good friends and allies, so he doesn’t have to worry about competing interests or anything like that.

Canada has its own small Powered Cadre, though it finds itself in a sort of weird spot, since it’s not as ā€˜free’ as the League and doesn’t have the ā€˜protect the Royal Family’ maxim that the British Royal Powered Agency has.

Most of its members were chosen to serve as a support force, focusing on stuff like rescue and relief operations. They’re not really the ā€˜punch people through buildings’ crowd, though some of them might indeed be capable of that.

Makes sense since throughout most of Canada’s history we’ve tried to be the diplomat during the Cold war and after

Is there any poly romance currently in the demo? Just want to know cause most CoG/HG normally never mentions whether their games have poly romance or not.
