You are giving Green Arrow way too much credit.

What does overpowered even mean past a certain point? If we can all paste people with a thought, does it really matter who can do the pasting the fastest? There comes a point where its arbitrary.

Green Arrow is Green Arrow. He’s just there.

You don’t but I sure have seen people say it.

A fair point, but those people are…

Their priorities are different than yours, let’s just say.

 we have had this conversation on the Mc for like 2 days that’s what you get?

also i want to ask if you don’t mind is their a different from seeker and Kratis? i noticed that sometimes you say stuff that makes me think their different

Kratis is Seeker’s name. Seeker is the mantle

Thanks

you know what would be cool if instead of just leaving the Team why not make it like where your distant from them so instead leaving the Mc can just not be buddy buddy with them like seeker that way you can keep the story going and also appease people who aren’t too happy about the team

Power is definitely an important factor in hero style story. But, it seems like the mc won’t be that powerful. The importance of the character is also important, but it also seems like Aki is more important than the mc. In this case the mc have the qualities of a side character and the readers currently have problem with that.

Facts Its fine if they struggle i just don’t want them to be unimportant i feel like all the characters are getting a better part then the Mc themselves in their story i don’t know maybe I’m tweaking

I do have a question about Seeker. How come Seeker saved the MC from Forlorn? I’m trying to figure Seeker out since he seems like the Angsty Lone Wolf with a dark past vibe but from what it seems he hasn’t done much teaching and hasn’t been much of a teacher for the MC since they joined the team. What made Seeker want to have MC join in the first place since he seems to show very little interest in the group well aside from the awkward tension from Ignis and some sort of mutual respect for Forlorn and Seeker on some weird wavelength in some weird strength maybe protecting something I guess and Aki to some degree given a small snippet in the story. I do kind of feel like the MC is sort of that background character that pops up in a few scenes when necessary but other than that don’t quite fit in with the team. Lat and Aki get along just fine yet we get daggers from Forlorn just being in the vicinity of Aki…didn’t see this happen with Lat being near Aki. The trio Seeker, Ignis, Forlorn well they all know each other and sort of the Main characters really. Nova seems kind of in the background to and pretty much chill and focused on his tech to care, even Mars seems rather interesting given he’s a powered user yet a bodyguard to the president and could raise eyebrows as to how come he would join a group of people not fond of the heroes. I like the story a lot but I do feel the MC doesn’t hold much purpose right now other than move the plot on. From the comments we get more of the meat and exposition from mostly character we either have yet to meet or characters that effect the MC by association. Seeker, Ignis, and Forlorn tend to be the big revolving circle even the mysterious Victoria and the Broken King and Blitz Queen got lots of information given on. It seems more like a book that should focus on these characters instead for the first book since it feels more like the MC gets lots of bad stuff happening to them in some way and on top of that I’m not sure how the MC stands out what makes the MC different(literally a background character without the black silhouette outline of them let alone have their back facing the camera while major character type character more like no face well more like that obscured hooded face with no eyes you know like in those video games coughs yu-gi-oh) but hey at least you can see they stand out some being a generic character somewhat). Lat got an uncommon superpower so even that makes her stand out from our MC not to mention seemed rather smarter than our MC in realizing how to use their powers yet she seemed to have picked up on her powers rather quickly for some mental based powers would have been nice to have more little bloopers with her powers to at least not feel so alone. Nova is op already without powers and super smart even copy fighting styles just from seeing it 1 or 2 times even if he doesn’t have superpowers he got his inventions to back him up. Forlorn literally seems like some indestructible mass ball of radiated destruction bad enough hate our guts only for me to think ā€˜oh geez it’s the unhinged Aki Repellant and the side effects to try and get close to Aki are dagger stares and intimidating fear of being a stain on the wall but hey at least we won’t die more like end up in the hospital so hooray for being an endangered species’ kind of nerve wracking and we’re gonna end up with him training us so yeah crying here thinking ā€˜hey seeker, you gonna teach me’ only to get an empty reply and to see your worse nightmare which makes me feel like clawing the walls trying to escape the realization of the grouch teaching I don’t want my MC to be a punching bag…didn’t you say not to put 2 powerhouses together and Forlorn doesn’t seem like the old chap to laugh and say you did good…more competitive and another reason to beat you down for the punch and hovering aki even worse if aki rejected him coddling her from her rebel streak, Aki got an ability of using ice and even seem like she is holding a dark secret that even murder rage man don’t know because I mean come on the quiet ones always got something that makes you turn your head and literally do a double take on don’t underestimate me, Ignis is the average rich girl that’s rebellious and questions her feelings for Seeker not to mention she plays a big role in what’s going on, well Seeker everyone knows about him til the cow came home with him. Sadly the MC ended up being blamed for destruction of the school, chased relentlessly by police, almost got killed by heroes in a meeting, forced to join the heroes, have a teacher who saved them yet not there to teach them(yeah seeker I’m looking at you buddy), got an angry forlorn shooting lasered daggers at us hoping we’d explode just from how hard this dude hates us, MC got the butt beat down by their alien counterpart while Lats was able to beat hers, get dumped by Ignis or dump her(can’t tell what would be worse though having her dump you thinking you had a chance or dumping her and feeling like a douche and making it seem like it was just a fling. I don’t wanna be that person only to start being a player and try and hook up with Lat after that…ugh the guilt and betrayal I’d feel. XP) only to know our missing teacher is that ride or die bad boy she wanted all along clearly the MC has to have a beaten down confidence just from that not to mention the MC is seen as a menace to society already, feels like every time our poor MC joins in the group or do something it always blow up in their face…even when it got to the point where the MC had to decide to save people and not kill them or have them killed to catch the enemy with Seeker then you get to hear the bashing of a still fresh new recruit on the news(but hey consolation prize with a pat on the back if you saved people) get shamed rather than the big 3 taking heat in the mix too because why make a rookie take action on deciding on what action they should take, I mean clearly we had Nova there with us. Nova my man you the brains of the operation the voice of reason buddy come on I’m floundering and you got me standing at gunpoint with the decision…a smart guy who has experience in this yet ask us what we want to do…I can’t tell if the ā€˜seasoned’ heroes are incompetent or they don’t like taking fault in the actions and thrust the leader role on MC. It’s like the MC character is a side character yet the buffer for taking the leader role in moments to get targeted only to make the whole team having to suffer as well. Also I feel like our counterpart might be lying about us being at Aki’s level because clearly enough with what is going on not seeing to many wins for the MC or improvement at best I feel like the MC would be at Nova’s level on a good day and have no clue about Mars much, if the MC is suppose to reach around Forlorn and Seeker’s level is a stretch in such a short amount of time they had their powers and given how much they struggled even to use them right, that counterpart of the MC must be plotting something bad(Dude gotta be some cursed spirit like in JJK), I did read how the author said the MC won’t be in one battle so does that mean that both Lat and MC get possessed by their counterpart and just training so that they can get body snatched at some point in time but the time isn’t right or something and bam everyone is going to be fighting possessed MC and Lat at some point. They sound like some sort of parasites and how come both of them never told the team about their other counterpart swimming in their head. The story is nice but it seems more like it would be better as a book or one of the characters Ignis or even Forlorn as a protagonist rather than have a MC in the mix since Seeker seems like the off limits fellow that would be the deuteragonist of the story. Maybe if all this was sorted out first in this book then a MC and Lat could pop up later with those weird counterparts as new recruits could be in the second book because right now MC, Aki, Nova, Mars, and Lat all seem to have really minor roles and poor Aki is riding Forlorn’s coat tail even when he’s not even there…glues to the hip and can’t get her own backstory going with out Forlorn hogging the spotlight. But the story does have lots of potential though. Not trying to be mean though so I’m sorry if I offended anyone.

Probably because he and Ignis somehow ran into Lat during the prologue and Lat probably explained the situation with the MC that was going on then Ignis figured out Lat wasn’t lying and made the call to go save their ass from Forlorn. If anyone that should be thanked for that, it’s Ignis.

Probably to make sure that what happened won’t happen again and might had saw the potential since the MC managed to knock Forlorn through a wall even if he had his guard down. Not often you see something like that happen, especially to Forlorn.

Thanks for telling me. I have been wondering since Seeker seems kind of like a Drifter and doesn’t stand still for long. I feel like he’s in the organization to find something and this gives him access to do that yet he still seems to be floating away in the breeze like a dandelion. He’s strong but seem kind of lost in a sense and well none of us are on his radar cause he chasing something he only sees but can’t grasp. Our teacher seriously seems like he’s trapped in the past played on replay, he’d definitely be a protagonist in a side story that could answer questions about all the problems going on. Starting to even wonder if Seeker is some really old dude with like 500+ years old or something and haunted by the past and have some part to the BK and BQ. Is seeker really on the same level as forlorn or could he have been weakened or some sealed power. So much curiosity for me. xD

He isn’t. He’s just a young guy that’s just like… maybe 5 to 10 years older than the MC is. Seeker is just a mantle that’s been passed down for generations, and V was the previous one that dumped it on probably a bad pick in Kratis who is the current Seeker. It’s like Dread Pirate Roberts from the movie, The Princess Bride

Probably on the same level but both Seeker and Forlorn just doesn’t really care to find out who’s the stronger one between them. And I’ve said this several times already but in Japan, Forlorn does bring up his feeling that Seeker is broken, like he was never meant to have the mantle of Seeker or he just can’t access the full power of it as V apparently can.

Maybe emotionally confused? I have no idea but it does hurt to know she just didn’t straight up just tell us she didn’t like us in that way or she could have said she trying to figure herself out or something rather than have a lovestruck MC following her around to get their heart broke following to the end…the pains of unrequited love… :smiling_face_with_tear:
Or as I said before we end up having to feel all icky and dump her and see her blossoming love for Seeker slowly unfold while having the choice of Lat as a rebound, ending it nicely, or be lonely angry person with destructive habits later. :face_exhaling:

Maybe we might need an achievement called ā€œForever Aloneā€ cause I don’t think I can make it if I go through Ignis route with the angst even if it ends nicely. MC get ready to make some angsty songs of heartache and the poetry the poetry of a love lost but not gone(literally and figuratively). :sob:

I know bro look on the Brightside we get to have Iris the greatest Ro known to Man and she hates Ignis and seeker downside she hates us too. Ignismancers and Iris are a match

I find that sounding great yet at the same time feeling like making for the exit with that pair.

…rather not be a casualty. It’s the equivalent to saying ā€œHey Iris, I got a crush on you let’s date!ā€ then bam Ignis pops up and first thought ā€œ@#$#%ā€ even worse if Iris is unhinged like most of the female and I mean rather not have a knife to the throat in having to reel Ignis in.

Forgot to say also Ignis=Seeker going to hunt you down if you put Ignis in danger with Iris… :scream:

I don’t think I have a bright side but at least go out with a :boom: while I go for that forbidden love gone wrong scene. Geez future looking bright for my MC’s love life to the max…
