Considering she’s supposed to gather information, this does not bode well for her.
Mabey she doesn’t have the charisma that a top spy master would have, you think that would be something good to bring up in the story again? Like we use her novice level manipulation skills against her before we are revealed to our long lost friends, even if your not on the revenge path it would be fun to expose Ante and pull the wool over her eyes.
Since it’s confirmed Ante’s suspicion towards MC was inspired by her love for Leon, how angry would everyone be if they hooked up while MC was with Arcadia? Regardless if MC romanced him or not.
Would that be another betrayal since Ante directly led to MC’s death?

I dunno. My MC romanced Ilya and more or less has forgiven Leon given the circumstances outside his control. I’m not sure I see a good king sleeping with his Spymaster but then I’m not sure Leon is a good king. Interesting wrinkle to the whole dynamic though.

At the very least that makes her even more unlikable in my eyes. As a Leonmancer my MC would like to tell her: “I LOVED HIM TOO, YOU IDIOT. WHY WOULD I BETRAY HIM???”

That just further proves that Ante isn’t fit for the spymaster role. She allows her emotions to get the best of her whenever Leon is involved. A good spymaster wouldn’t allow themselves to get caught up in such details
