Becoming a cleric is a yearslong endeavor you’re on the cusp of achieving when a new friend asks for a favor, making you exchange class for a fight that’s not yours. Unfortunately for you, clerics are sworn to offer a healing hand to those in need.
Hello fellow hellions!
I’ve gotten big for my britches and decided to try my untrained hand at writing an IF. I’m on Day Three™ of working on AHH (I do like that acronym, ngl), so you may want to hold off on playing until the I’ve completed the first arc/questline. Up to you!
I plan on working on this regularly (with a current goal of 1k+ words per day on the backend) and perhaps updating monthly? I guess we’ll find out what’s sustainable together!
CURRENT STATUS:
At present, the story is only a few thousand words long, and the branches (if you can call them that) are young and sparse.

PLANS
Ideally, this story would remind players of party-based fantasy games like Pathfinder: Kingmaker or Divinity: Original Sin. There will be a set story and characters (some of whom may become companions based on player choices), and the player will decide how they go about the story. As I am not a team, however tiny, of majorly talented and experienced industry professionals, the story will be limited in scope but I’ll do my best to ensure we’re all having fun (most of the time).
Romance? Not at this time. It would be cool! It’d be cooler if it got smutty! But that’s a long ways away, if ever. It could turn out that you hate all the companions and wouldn’t want to date any of them anyway, so no worries about this just yet.
Friendships? Yes! As you’ll be adventuring with a party, you’ll probably want to hang out and spend time with the companions you vibe with the most. If they’re still hanging around at any given point, they’re probably OK with being your friend
FEEDBACK:
In the immediate, there’s not much to review, so there may not be that much to say, and that’s OK! It’s also OK if you hate everything and have a lot to say. I’m sure I’ll find something constructive in whatever you throw at me. I’ll be grateful for your time and energy regardless.
As the story progresses: I’d most like developmental feedback on flow, characters, and quests. Are they paced in a way that seems fun? Is that one NPC a little too sarcastic? Could that quest actually be spread out more? Things like that, mainly.
If you have something to say, I want to hear it!

QUESTIONS FOR YOU:
How often are you wanting to be notified that text has been changed due to your stats (which are based on your choices ((I hope!))?
Do you feel the shifting text adequately reflects your choices? If not, is there any specific scene that stood out to you as incongruous with the rest of the text (or with the concept of a fun TTRPG session)?
Do you feel your stats are adequately representative of your choices? If not, what would you have liked to see? Any specific scenes where you felt this wasn’t true or it felt extra true?
Do you feel you have a fair range of choices so far? If not, where would you like to have seen what and why?
