Not really. I’m just enamored with Darkness/dark themes in a general sense. I love its symbolism, that of evil or mystery or fear, of something which is neither good nor bad, but generally seen as the latter.

On another note, what about our morality or whatever you wish to call it? Will our choices be deemed good or evil? (In our stats I mean)

There’s no such thing as Good or Evil. Let’s say you choose to make your MC kill, does that make you inherently evil? Does it mean you can’t be good? It doesn’t, it depends on the beholder of your actions. Killing, as an example, might make a character more wary of you at the same time it makes another respect you.

So for the moment, and foreseeable future, I don’t plan on having a Good/Evil scale.

I understand that joining the cyphers seems pivotal for your story, however, will we get the chance to leave them for good? Or betray them even?

Those are two very spoiler-y questions, so I’m afraid I can’t answer. I will, however, say that a lot of people can end up dead, them included.

Well, there are time skips, but there’s a lot of getting to know the cast and things like that (read: much like how the hangouts work in Breach: The Archangel Job).
