The thing is, however, that pretty much everybody tries, tried or will try to kill MC (life can be hard sometimes ), killing u is just her job, MC would problably do the the same if told to (killing them i mean, not the aligator thing).
Soooo … twitch “no hard feelings”.
I mean… if we’re being told “kill that person” and we have the option to use or to not use crocodiles…
i would think Angel is equivalent to Irene Adler of Sherlock Holmes Universe , Just like Adler is working for Dr Moriarty unwillingly as his henchman , Angel is sort of running errant for her hidden boss as well…
So assuming our MC is Sherlock Holmes , feeling attracted to Angel is also similar to Holmes attracted to Irene Adler ( who seems to best him on few occasion)
I thought Angel just left us hanging there ? If Angel want to kill us …we would be dead already
I will admit that and I love it for my MC… but in real life if someone dangled me, Mewsly, over a tank of crocodiles I would not want to bone them afterwards. Kinda a mood killer.
All right… i admit that is a fair point
Angel did save us after that… +1 - 1 = 0 ?? (forget and forgive) ???
Oh come on sis/bro/person(?). No need to get moody. Angel just left us hanging over a role on the ground, with a filled tank in the bottom, full of crocodiles. Its not like they intended to do you harm, they where just using u like a personal toy .
Is this a book? Which one?
Sherlock Holmes is the protagonist from the novel wirtten by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The detective was first introduced in the A Study in Scarlet. Irene Adler is a minor character in the novel-verse. She make her appearance in A Scandal of Bohemia. But in movies or tv shows, her part was turn into some kind of agent of Moriarty or some kind of agent-of-sorts.
I know that.
Thats what i wanted to know. Grateful.
Prefer the books.
Sorry. I thought you are asking if what Eric was referring to. Anyway, I prefer the novel verse as well.
In terms with Angel, my MC might pursue them but judging from the author’s hints, there might not be a redemption arc. XD
Well, one thing is that they’re incredibly manipulative. Good trait in a spy, less so in a relationship.
In game though, yeah trying to kill you is pretty much just business. The MC has probably done questionable enough things on the job that they don’t have much of the moral high ground there.
Technically the point was to kill you slowly, giving them time before the IIA realised you were dead (of course, really just my attempt to justify a Bond villain death trap )
Interesting question…
Doesn’t sound too bad - you’ll have loads of fun trying to kill each other. Lots of steamy nights ahead.
Yeah but I don’t believe they ever get happily ever after in any of media interpretations or books
Hopefully same won’t be with Angel
Depends on the MC. And their definition of a happy ever after.
Well…to be fair, Sherlock was actually being presented with a choice and opportunity to live happily ever after with Irene in both Movies and TV series , unfortunately Sherlock cannot control his own choice where the movie producer made the “wrong” choice for his decision But, fortunately for our case, we are in interaction fiction where we can make our own choice of a happy ending
I take example from those choice events of the movie and tv series to integrate them into the potential scene with Angel ( fanfic) so that we can attempt to make our own choice…

From the Movie’s idea " We found out the identity of the hidden boss of Angel’s organisation , worrying about the safety of Angel… we visit Angel’s hotel room and present her with 2 choices… either allow us to take her into custody in order to protect her or run away now and allow us to deal with her boss alone… Angel in return, suggest another choice to us, why don’t we run away with her together , forget about the whole Aegis Project and our served organisation ? " Hence, we are given a choice here for our ending… Sherlock rejected that idea from Irene , so they didn’t end up living happily ever after

From the TV series , " After rescuing Angel from near death execution , we selfishly keep our smartphone which contain personal messages and data about Angel , as well as her initial contact number… surprisingly Angel never delete her number and sent a private message to us , requesting us to keep in touch " here we are present with another choice on whether to return messages with Angel and continue our dangerous relationship … well, Sherlock chose to ignore Irene and never dare to return her messages ( depend on the future season ) , thus missing another chance to live happily ever after
As for the book version, Sherlock never had a chance because Irene had married with someone else
You will eventually end up meeting Angel’s boss, as well as the overall boss of DIABLO (not the same person). Not in this book though.
Will we be able to become a DIABLO? (in the series or this book)
Potentially you can end the series working for DIABLO.
Does that mean we can turn DIABLO into a non-profit organization that helps stray kittens and organizes fundraising events for charity?
Noooo It means you’re a bad guy now.
