I’ve added Chapter 12! Sadly, it’s short, so there isn’t a whole lot of new stuff to see. I did end up going through previous chapters when I found minor things to tweak/adjust.
Now, this took me ages because I did not realize how many variables I had set. I added the ability to start from ANY chapter so if you want to see JUST the new stuff, you can. As far as I know, because I actually tested this time (learned my lesson), it works just fine!
I’m so glad I figured this out. I really wanted this bit in here…

As in, I only did Chapter 13. I actually split it because… I wanted to? I dunno, it just felt long to me, even if that wasn’t the case. So I’m gonna be uploading 13 and 14 next. I even got to use variables that I figured wouldn’t come up until Book 2! I mean, it was a minor use but still. I wasn’t expecting to use it until then.
Yknow, in the original document, Ch13 was Ch11. So, it looks like I’m gonna be closer to 20 chapters, which blows my mind. I’m still reeling from the fact I wrote something with a beginning, middle, and end.
I’m really looking forward to Ch15, though (11, in the original doc oml). When I originally drafted this, it was my favorite part! So, I hope when it comes, you all like it too!

OKAY. I think I got everything. I hope. Buuut, I finally added in an eye-color choice and tried to write it so it wouldn’t throw things off too much. Which means, Chapter One got the addition! I added it to the list of choices as well, for those that want to skip to a specific point.
ANYWAY. I hope this works.Let me know your thoughts, tell me of any bugs and mistakes I didn’t catch, and all that!
Finding it super hard to choose one RO with this, which is a blessing and a curse. Like on one hand the choices! The range! On the other hand what do you mean I have to make choices?

Okie dokies, here we are again. As usual, I think I got everything but there’s always that chance of me overlooking something.
So, for all you Ulysses lovers, there is a small bit if your god-Hunter slept with him and therefore, got a hold of that precious rosary. It was kinda fun writing those portions. That said, there is a lot of repetition here, as in there are parts that are exactly the same between each route with minor differences!

That said, I did have to go back through and tweak the chapter headers so they’re all bold and italicized. Ulysses’ scene is also tweaked for those who chose a more shy approach to him!
Edit: …no one told me I said 15 and not 16. And I only just realized. So. There’s that.
I always like replaying for a refresher/re-imersion when there are updates, but I also like going through all the routes to see the different updates/flavour texts—thank you for the jump option!
A bug I think: in chapter 15 on Andrei’s route in the apartment, the last page before the chapter ends, the text reads as if it was the route if Eugene was the one that was there with me!
Honestly, the thing that made me like U was the “or we can netflix and chill” way of taking all the sexual tension out of the suggestion that he stay. Sometimes you just need someone to sit and mope with.

Before anyone freaks out and wonders how the frick that’s possible, it’s really short. Like, REALLY short. I did not realize how short it was until I got to the end of the document and went “Oh”. Which is good! I feel the previous chapter was a little on the longer side and 17 is long-ish too!
For you Ulysses stans, you’re in luck! There’s a scene available regardless if your Hunter slept with him or just watched movies. It didn’t feel fair/right to lock it only behind having sex with him or locking lips. There isn’t a whole lot of flavor text in this one!

I always find it hard seeing what causes my brave stat to drop. Like my mc would jump headfirst into danger no problem but being paranoid drops it for instance when saying they hate the peaceful neighborhood in chapter 14

I liked the scenes after the panic attack especially because I play with a pretty stoic and introverted mc so it’s a nice contrast. And it should be clear to the ROs that mc has mayor issues haha
You’ve got a repeating sentence at the beginning of Chapter 16 (the bit about Erin’s shoes) but that’s the only thing that stands out to me (other than things mentioned before that I’m not likely to get, LOL!)
Fixed that! Not too mad at myself for not noticing that one- that’s easy to miss. I also removed the “brave” stat from being adjusted because I understood why it would be annoying or perplexing.
And yeah, Idc how stoic a MC is. Show them breaking down, ya’ll. Either in private or openly, just do ittttt. @AnneWest

This is a weird one. I just went through and checked the code and it’s correct. I spelled things correctly and I actually made the variable. So, I went to the demo itself and didn’t get that popup. I even tried with Min-Ji, dunno why that would cause that error but, hey, might as well. Still didn’t get the error.

So I talked about it with @tag-if (yes, I’m tagging you because I am thanking you for putting up with me thus far). Don’t ask 'em for spoilers because they don’t know stuff either lolol.
But, seriously, I’m going to pause updating the demo for the time being. This is because, having looked, I have3 to 4,at most 5 (if I split anything up), chapters left. Yup. That’s it. Which is scary, mind-blowing, and overwhelming to think about. I still have things to do before I get it all in and coded! I got a whole ending scene to add in! Which, really, I think is where most of the remaining work lies. The “big bad confrontation”, so to speak, and the ending needs the most work and will take me the longest.
Which means… I guess I gotta get serious now about revamping my Patreon, huh? I am thinking about leaving the last chapters for Patreon? Somehow? I dunno how the timing of that would work. Lmao I gotta pester the forums, especially since I still haven’t a clue about the artwork (ie. sizing).
Exciting news, looking forward to reading! But as a heads up I don’t think you can do the remaining chapters Patreon-only. The Choice Script TOS require Patreon access be used only for early preview / any paywalled content must be made available to the general public within 30 days of Patreon-only access.
