well the age people start as freshman in college is different, some start at 17 even as young as 14 and some start at a more advanced age, so i think having an age set for college students is not ideal
and as for teenagers, i don’t see the problem with the option of playing as a 14 year old potentially, it would add to the role playing factor
I don’t think its unreasonable to ask for some aspects within the game to be grounded in realism.
Being a 14 year old teenager mc when said mc is clearly a junior in high school and finds themselves capable of initiating romantic relationships with fully grown adults is entirely weird.
no it’s not, but at the same time, you can be a katana wielding caucasian, who also happens to be homemaker, mowing down hordes of zombies with the blade, so yeah lol
with the older adults i think it’s already limited if your a teen, your main choices were the twins, bailey, tommy and jillian i think?
it’s subjective of course, but i wouldn’t mind a 14 year old being an option
My assumption is that the teen would be restricted to 16–18, but presumably if Jim does let you choose an age below 16, romance would be limited to just the twins. (Jillian dating a 17-year-old is already a bit sketchy, but a 14-year-old? )
As for the whole “junior in school” thing, well, that can easily be changed, if necessary. The only thing that might cause an issue is that the teen MC was supposed to have met both Jaime and Tommy in their first year of school, when the two of them were seniors, so if the MC is still in their first year, it might require a little more rewriting.
going back and reading, you are correct, first year is being used past tense, so it would be impossible for a teen mc to be 14
