In THEÎON you’ll play as Persephone, god/dess of Spring through different eras and stories of Greek mythology, which include but are not limited to The Abduction of Persephone. You can expect:

Description: tall, slender, pale, long dark hair with a streak of gray. Golden eyes, stong, straight nose and chiseled jaw.

Prologue: fixed typos/mistakes, added some options (+0,5k, 5k in total)

This seems lovely so far! Love the writing and the characters, though I will say I felt a bit lost at all the names; I’m no Greek pantheon genius, much to my own dismay sometimes. But that’s just a nitpick.
I do have a question/suggestion; this is purely personal and doesn’t need to be implemented in your story. Will there be a trans option (besides non-binary, of course)? I’m a trans man, and I’d love to be able to provide answers to your questions on a personal basis as well as some research-based ones if you were to give the option of such. Of course this could require a bit of learning of your own. I won’t ever be against depicting reactions to this and sexuality or even race—negative, neutral, or positive—and would, in fact, encourage them. I’ve always loved when IFs take the time and care to do so; it makes it feel like your choices really do matter. Especially in a story that leans so heavily on romance and character development. But that also is up to your comfortability in portraying such tragedy instead of just neutral or positive reactions.
Other than that, no complaints for this short prologue and one (unfinished?) chapter. Keep up the great work. Props to you for even starting an IF. I hope all is well, and lots of love <3
I know the start can be kind of confusing if you’re not familiar with Greek Mythology, but I didn’t want to lore dump the player because:
It gets boring.
You’re not playing a blank-slate MC, so the story treats your character like they already know most of the characters/events that already happened.
I try to give the info in small doses and as organically as I can, so it feels like the MC is already a part of the world instead of getting dumped into the middle of it.
Regarding your request/suggestion: thank you for the offer, I appreaciate it. I don’t want to sound dismissive, but in this case I think it wouldn’t be possible to fit it into the narrative the way you want because gender is not perceived like we do in our world. In the lore in-game (and in canon), deities can change their whole form at will, not only physical aspects like hair or eye color.
In this story, deities may like or prefer some forms, but their identity remains fluid, so if a goddess like Aphrodite one day decided to take a male shape, no one would bat an eye. There wouldn’t be negative/positive reactions because it’s something very normal amongst them, all of them can change forms at will and have done so at some point. Now, story-wise there is a form of patriarchy, but it’s an attempt by Zeus to reinforce the hierarchy amongst deities and to give himself more power over the other deathless ones (it really doesn’t make sense amongs gods and goddesses and it’s mostly one of Zeus’ whims, but that’s another story).
I can add the option to change shapes mid-game, but as I said, it’s not really a trans option and I think it would be dishonest to advertise it as such. When I finihs this one, I want to start another one set into the modern world and I definitely plan on implementing more options to explore the MC’s gender

I can’t wait to meet Hades (of course I’ll romance Hades, it’s a sin not to lol). I’m really, really interested in how their relationship and plot will develop.
I always picture Hades as a very stoic, solitary, lonely and not particularly emotional person, who is actually incredibly loyal, caring, and loving. And I really really hope, that in game will be situations in which MC will be able to prove over and over again that he loves just as much and will risk everything for Hades.
I don’t know how you’re going to spin the plot, but I just want to give Hades all the love… and maybe make him a little confused by the warmth the Spring God(dess) will bring him hehe

Hehe, we have very similar visions of Hades
In this game, Hades is quiet, solitary, and very wary and weary of his family’s antics, especially Zeus and Poseidon’s. He’s very responsible, duty-oriented and just, but also terribly lonely at times. An extremely devoted partner, who makes their partner feel seen and heard, and very thoughtful.
I have some surprises up my sleeve: the game will feature some of the more obscure, unknown myths, so I hope it’s at least a fun experience!
And don’t worry, the MC will have plenty of chances to prove their love for Hades
