(WIP) "The Cordillarian Revolution"

I noticed a bug, in the surname choice, the game asks to confirm the first name again. So if I choose Rodrigo Diaz for example, the game asks to confirm if it is rodrigo and then asks to confirm again if it is Rodrigo.

So I’m guessing we can use the revolutionary guard for a socialist dictator route

From what we see in the factions menu there are two factions in the army, the Revolutionary Guard who would support a Communist Dictator while the Military Guard would be the opposite, supporting a Military Dictator (Facist for the most intimate, but in South America, I think it’s easier to understand when considering as its own subtype)

Yes, they will be more engaged in socialist ideals, however the player may have the possibility to please them without becoming a dictator.

That’s right. Besides, we are currently working in the armed forces background where the player will have a deeper understanding of how bouth guards work.

Is there a possibility that in the future we will have a map of the country? Because being honest, I have no idea where the fuck Cordillaria is.

Maybe in the future because I haven’t found any free software that would allow me to create the kind of map that I imagine, so I think that making this map would require an artist who would accept to draw it.

It must be even more complicated to find something like this because you have to use the map of our world, which is quite limiting.

Exactly!

Once we survive the first days and start working on the country (I heard in the interest thread that we have to try and stay alive for the first half of the game) would there be a cartel problem we have to deal with because I don’t much about South America during the Cold War but I do know that in today’s time those countries (especially Columbia) have cartel problems?

Even though the war on drugs began in the 70s, it was only in the 80s that the fight against drug trafficking really intensified due to the accession of Pablo Escobar who strengthened the cartels and President Ronald Reagan who tried to combat this strengthening.

Therefore, as the story begins in 1976, the player will not have to deal with this situation immediately.

But the player will have to deal with them in police background, wich might affect how big this problem will become during your presidency, depending on the player’s actions.

Will you give the option of being able to cooperate with the cartels?

Ps: for those who don’t know, most dictatorships here in South America cooperated with drug cartels. That’s why I asking.

Yes, it will be a possibility.

So how do we go from a captain to a sergeant if we’re getting promoted?

Well, Sargent is an Enlisted Personnel rank and Captain is a Commissioned Officer rank, so as the MC joined the army as an officer, he could not achieve the rank of sargent.

But the general said my MC was getting promoted to sergeant even though he was a captain
