My problem with Mei isn’t really the poisoning, it’s just that she resort to murder as her first, second and last options when there are much smarter ways to go about it.

Playing through the demo and so far, while I do have a couple of issues with it, I’m really enjoying it! I’ll post my full review once I’m finished playing it.
I just have a quick question: does anyone know if it’s possible to beat Xiwen at the poetry contest? Bc so far I’ve only had the game tell me my poetry skills are bad at E-H, and only got 7 blades of grass to rise at M-H.

Yeah, you can, though I haven’t looked at the mechanics behind it.
In my case, apparently singing of my love for Tigress was enough to earn me 13 points and win the contest. I will not comment on the fact my MC still hasn’t decided who her endgame goal will be and is keeping her options open.
For reference, trying a poem on Freedom got me 10 points, aka “close, but no cigar”.

Well to win, it actually involves the charisma stat to beat xiwen in it
like the options available are those that are just based on requirement, for example in order to sing a love poem about a ro, u got to have a high relationship with that ro

You need to have at least 26 Charisma and don’t pick poems where you don’t write about anything particular like nothing specific and freedom from being forced to acted in a certain way. Any other poems is fine.

Nah other poems has a base inspiration of 5 while picking nothing specific and freedom reduced inspiration to 0. We already have to be sincere when picking since there is a requirement to pick them while these two options we have no source of inspiration and are not writing about anything particular.

Has anyone been able to do a poem about Tang Ruo? I thought I had the highest possible relationship stat with him but the option was greyed out. What is the actual number you need?

Now i feel a little guilty about what i did to mo long, the mc I recently created was sick of being a goody goody, so they joined up with the he clan and when mo long wanted to exterminate he clan after, I told him the truth, my mc was like bruh i didn’t tell u so u can ruin my clan, dead men tell no tells and begin to kill a mo long that thought was getting saved
There’s the fun on having multiple playthroughs, first was docile, well mannered mc, after that, haughty literal demon incarnation, then the next was a mix of the two. He clan will burn, I even was tempted to join it just to burn it in the inside out, but that’s a long game, now we can incite a very powerful houtian that can grow into a powerhouse against them. Plus, that she devil poisoned me, still would romance her though.
