Have you used alchemy before? There is an ‘impurities’ mechanic, which reduces the amount of exp you get over time (unless you cleanse your body / have Pristine Body trait)
Also, what’s your bodytype/height? If it’s muscular/very tall than that alone will reduce agi gain by 40%
Is there more investigation missions beside the one murder one? I don’t feel like I seen many missions in general, but maybe I needed to check more often.
Should clarify I do have access to the second section, but Alchemy Pavilion and another thing were grayed out for me to select it.
That would put you at -40% for agility gain. Which, for 200 exp / per attribute, will require you to spend 80 exp more. At the same time, you’ll gain strength 40% cheaper.
It’s not implemented as of now. You can get there through an event with Mei, but otherwise it’s locked out. Need to add more pills
I managed to get the pill, but I dont know how to use it lol. Also, will this method actually make you ascend the same way you would had you not done it (aka, gone about it naturally)? If so, it would be quite nice, as I assume tou wont really need to do what you were asked to when you get the pill .
Isn’t there a natural way to reach mid tier without them even if takes longer. I’m doing a play through where the mc kept their distance from them because of what happened at the tournament with their brother

The fact it put me that low in the begining for the first hit and that it kept saying I was passing each check even though I clearly obviously wasn’t. Also the stat check changes are… weird. Because with these changes I’m failing almost every check not just in the fight but even every other fight while min maxing completely for str, con, and vit when before I could pass all three of those checks and had spare for some perception to. But oddly enough I’m also not losing any of the fights because even when I fail every con check in the game, it’s still high enough to where nothing does enough damage to beat me. Checks are just definitely needed to be reworked because the perception checks for mo long mission before only needed like around 200 or so, not the thousand+ it now requires. Everything costing so much is really ball busting for mortals as it seems the only way to win, is to just go pure vit and con and win by just getting to the end even while failing every con and vit check

Also, I assume you’re playing on an older version? I have adjusted the starting values quite a bit / added more free roam events. It should be possible to max out 2~3 stats before the start of the expo, with quite a bit in other ones as well. Something like this:
Afaik only the Mo Long fight could not be won on this run (though I think with the talismans it should be possible).

Hmm… I think another big problem you had was lack of INT, since it boosts training exp by a lot → Reduced int scaling on training, increased plain training bonus

Changed EXP costs, they are now progressive in their price (starting from 50 and +10 for every level, up to 250 at level 20)
I would love for our reputation to change some lines of other characters or even whole scenes, they don’t have to be important scenes or characters, but just for flavor, they might even notice the weirdness of a good but lying MC or a bad but honest one MC (I know this can be tricky so it’s okay if it never happens)
