I see, we were originally talking about the times He Gang and Wu heir fought. One when they were young and one when you attack him yourself. So I meant to say in the event you choose to fight him it only results in his victory, which is true no? Maybe we misunderstood each other.

Well from my perspective it either results in a draw or your loss. Once you attack you’ll knock him around a lil bit till he activates his technique to start stealing your qi. At that point you have to pass a stat check which stops his technique if you pass it at which point the fight ends due to an enforcer showing up so basically a draw, and if you fail then you lose all your qi.
I have explained how it’s overselling in the very post you replied to. He Gang’s bodyguard doing her actual job and interfering didn’t mean she has “saved him from the MC”. She only saved He Gang the effort of kicking MC’s ass himself.

Sha didn’t interfere because He Gang wasn’t attacking the MC at that point. There was nothing (yet) to interfere with. But you think if He Gang was beating your MC’s face in on his own, she’d just sit there and didn’t get involved because “hey, it’s not like the kid will actually die from it”?

If you fight him you either lose your money or both qi and money.
Honestly, I feel moments like this should give you a charisma option/check to avoid repercussions. It’s a very underused stat.
Their lives are already forfeit, they just don’t know it yet.

It’s He Gang. He’ll take all qi if you fail constitution (iirc) check, and a few units if you pass it.
The enforcer makes you pay a monetary fee for starting the fight.

Yeah, for some reason the current version of the game doesn’t have option to see your perks and their levels/benefits in the stats, which can be pretty irritating because i sure as heck don’t remember these things, and even if i did i’m not going to remember them by the time next update rolls out.
