Really nasty number to pull on someone. You get 3k exp from that event but that’s nowhere near to patch up the losses.
Although maybe you’ll get some magical ass-pull to address that later that isn’t in the public demo (or paid one), idk.

Another option is to just lie about your identity. If you pass a charisma check the squad will believe you and just leave. Meaning you keep the pellets for later, too.

How does one get pellets?
I did have the charisma to pull Hu Huan but that would be quite contrary to my Mark Antony LARP MC.
Plus I love that fight and the end.

It’s one of options if you’re on Mei Mei’s path.
(you can alternatively get a pill which will boost your stats, but reduce max health by something like 50%)

After the He gang incident, when you go to consult Mei and choose to tell her about Qi, she will want to cut you open. If you ask for something in exchange, she will give you the blasting pellets.
