Accept the bomb from Mei and then give it to LC, he will owe you a favour and you can use it to make him release Guo.
so i just restarted the game and went with eagle legendary trait so i put 0 in perception and because of that i failed the first mission where you need to search for some flowers pls fix this

I want to know, are we going to be able to mess up with Mei Mei by betraying her at some point? Also if we beat up Long Chen close to death without the explosive, shouldn’t we be able to just pass it and still keep things good with Mei Mei? Also, people who keep the bar guy alive, is it worth at this point? Cause before it was just a complete waste of Mei Mei benefits.

Mei only gets mad if you tell Long Chen she’s making an attempt on his life and give him the bomb, no? At that point it hardly matters if you punch him with the golden seed. Though I do agree it’s weird you HAVE to use the bomb to see her real nature.
Keeping the fatty alive gives you 30k gold and an additional 20k if you don’t mess up with the spear twin.

Technically you can also see Mei’s true nature if you choose to taunt her after her encounter with Long Chen. You just need low enough relationship with her for that option to be enabled. If you warned Long Chen about Mei it’ll drop to 0 iirc, so that’s “low enough”.
Not really, because the point of that scheme was to blow him up and kill him, something you’ve agreed to, not just beat him close to death. That the bomb wasn’t able to do it is another story, but it doesn’t make much sense to just keep it in the inventory and not use it if you have the opportunity. And if you don’t have the bomb at that point, that’s only because you let Long Chen have it after revealing Mei’s scheme; something she obviously isn’t going to appreciate.
It’s hard to say at this point. You get some money out of this and also potentially earn a favor with one of Su spear twins, which may or may not be of benefit down the road.

Yeah I know. But uh, I feel like we’ve seen enough to deduce it at that point? Being poisoned, being asked to nuke someone, hearing she assasinated someone. Yet the MC doesn’t actually “know” Mei’s deal unless you’re fully her enemy, right?

Monkey God: Don’t piss him off before the expedition and don’t choose any master when you have the option to. Learn void step.
Demon Queen: I dunno if she has master events, though I guess she does give you a tape worm. Kill her son I guess?
Assuming she’ll use this against us, I’m hoping her plan fails since our body was remade. It’d be really funny.

The MC gets to see Mei drop the mask if she either likes or dislikes them enough. If their relationship is middling, then i guess she sees you as a potentially useful fool/simp and keeps up the illusion. (and basically disappears from the play through because the game doesn’t have anything for this scenario, same way it handles the others)

Keeping Jing Guo alive could give you 30K from him, Su De 20K and Snu Snu from him/her
That’s good enough benefits, and True Ai Romancer should be Virtuous enough to save Jing Guo, Rich enough and Strong enough for her
Oh MC knows you could roleplay knowing her and be indifferent or same as her when a junior tell Mei actually evil before She ask you meet privately
