Slightly more seriously, no. Mei Mei and Ai are pretty much mutually exclusive (both alignment-wise and because Mei won’t tolerate another woman) and the same applies to Tang Ruo and Xiwen on political grounds.
There isn’t really anything that happens with Ruo, no matter if you romance anyone else or not.
Well, there is some romantic content with Ai as well, it just isn’t really something that you’d get a “harem” with. Plus, it’s open question at this point whether Ai is even going to survive for long. Seeing how there’s a flag in the game script that indicates her potentially dead.
well turns out it doesnt reduce damage i did the entry tournament with legen elephant blessing and i got defeated with -7hp with 0 in con i tried same with 100 in con and with legen blessing yet ended up with -6
Probably because it scales up to 10k (I guess it’s even higher now?) and the current mortal limit is only 100.
Even at 10k it would originally give you about 20%, I think.
Though, I’m not sure how it works later on. Do you need to put refinement points into it for better damage reduction? Or is it based on plot points, where your limit is your current martial stage.
Going by that bit of game script which calculates it, the DR is calculated by comparing current constitution value against 75000, which will produce 20% at constitution of 15000 which is the innate ceiling in the current release. At earlier stages the max value you can get is lower – ~7% at 5k, and ~13% at 10k.
Having Tier 4 Elephant Blessing should provide the same value, but i guess for whatever reason maybe it doesn’t.
edit: wait, i think i’ve got the bug. @NickyDicky the consitution calculation checks for wrong tier of Elephant Blessing.
*if blessing_con = 4
*comment max CON DR
*set DR_actual +0.2
blessing_con of 4 is actually Tier 3 (Epic) of the talent. The Legendary Tier, which i’m guessing the game is trying to test for, is blessing_con = 5
You can earn lots of Qi if you choose Void Dao + Mei + Business Talents, Mortal player should Romance Mei instead Ai
It is a scripted Scene
Business Talents is not meaningless, It can Let you Buy chunks of Qi, not only that In Wu City mission you can develop your Void Dao by eliminating Rebels (good source of Qi) + Dai Pengfei get ooffed another Qi, Beating Xiao Chun can give you 100K, Breaking promises with Rebels can get you like 12K gold and Robbing Dai Pengfei get another 17K that can be bought for Qi, at the end I think it is enough for the tourney right ? especially for Player who use Demon Overlord or Paragon of Virtue or maybe Martial Sovereign Talent, you could rack up to 60-80 Qi I think, it should be enough.
I mean it gives more replayability honestly, and new content
What do you mean by earning lots of Qi with void dao? Learning void tricks costs you a chunk of qi if anything, and it doesn’t provide any significant opportunities to earn significantly more than you spend, that i can think of.
Business talents earn you money, but as pointed out already, you are not capped by money, but the fact you are limited to 3 qi/“turn” when purchasing treasures. So the business talents are meaningless in that regard. I’ll concede my initial comment wasn’t accurate, i overlooked the treasure limits bottleneck.
And the idea that you must go on certain path/romance in order to be able to develop your character… it should be self-evident how silly and limiting it is. Definitely something that should rather be addressed than allowed to persist, wouldn’t you say?
I disagree. It’s super limiting and frankly makes playing as a female Wu heir redundant. Why bother if the most ‘optimal’ way to play is to be a different gender.
What replayability does it really give if you’re effectively forced to play single viable path, or be screwed? I mean if anything, it’s having all or at least a few similarly viable paths would mean you can pick different routes and playstyles.
How exactly do you buy chunks of Qi with business talents? If you are referring to buying treasures then i have already mentioned that aspect two times by now why having more money on hand doesn’t really make any real difference.
Wu City mission gives you a handful of Qi, except you also need to spend similar amount to unlock the void technique during next master training. So your qi net gain by following space dao path is minuscule, if any.
You need ~100-120 qi for the demon squad fight alone. Nevermind the qi you might want to spend on other fights in the arena, training etc. And of course that part of the tournament that has yet to happen.
(granted, the demon squad is for the “evil” MCs, but then if you do those things you recommend for money etc, you’re quite likely to end up right there)
Don’t bring the Martial Sovereign talent into this, because it’s basically a switch to disable the qi mechanics altogether, by reducing expenses to 1/move.
“Seems my physique was destined to be paired with your qi. Does it mean we’re soulmates?”
“You’ve got a shitty soulmate then. I have no idea how you didn’t realize I was only with you for your physique.”
“If this is a joke, then it’s a bad one.”
You sneer as you get up.
“The only thing I am laughing at is you. Your pathetic desperation was very entertaining.”
Laughing, you give her a wave.
Not knowing what possesses you, and not willing to dive deep into your psyche to figure it out, you step to the pile, pick one pair of panties and sniff them.
Monkey God yells, “I knew I made the right choice in making you my disciple!”
