Try having decent vitality and constitution next time. IIRC you don’t need to be able to fight back you just gotta survive the beatdown.

Eh, Mei Mei seems pretty normal in comparison to the cultivation stories I’ve read.
Or maybe I’ve just been my luck to find might makes right settings. Murder, slavery, kidnapping, theft, etc, well I remember a book which mentions there’s “acting moral because you think something is wrong, and there’s acting moral because you are afraid of punishment.”
Well having superpowers and superpowered friends and relatives kind of has a way of making one less concerned about fear of punishment.
So Mei Mei is doing what she thinks she can get away with, so far I haven’t seen anything that makes me think she’s the odd duck in this game.

perhaps maybe after we have proven we’re the strongest it would be possible maybe as an epilogue or something.
Second coming of an invincible god or not, something like creating your own clan right now is just a ridiculous way of getting yourself isolated from help and support, there are people that don’t want you to climb higher.
That is an in-world explanation, on the other hand, the author has said that things like traditions, lineage, … play an important role in the story, something like you suggested will create an enormous and complicated plotline with too many variables ( the only author who did something remotely similar is Cataphark of the Infinity Saga and he admitted that it was HARD )

That’s why i said maybe as an epilogue or something of course it’s not something that would happen right at the beginning of the story, but maybe something at the end like how the clans in this story were made from the martial gods bloodline and children being married off, i could totally see new clans emerging from our own bloodline.

wondering if it was really as impossible as he says it is.
Which Is why freedom is my favorite motivation it was interpreted exactly how I wanted it. Wanting to be the strongest to do whatever you want.
Though on the Mei Mei thing I think she is a bit rash since she was very drastic to someone she just met. Ultimately in the case of the regen folk who survive it actively proves to be short sighted

Just figured out the answer to the whole tigress Devil outbreak debate from awhile back. When we meet her tigress is still a mortal so no matter how much she’s killed until that point or what negative emotions she may have suffered she would’ve never suffered a Devil breakout while being a mortal and since becoming a Houtian it doesn’t seem like she has gone through any abnormal experience ces that would cause a breakout
