Sorry pal wrong information, we can beat long chen but not win against him at the moment, hopefully the mc will be stronger in future updates of the game but for now we can just leave him in bloody mess, only for him to regenerate back up again

That’s a good theory but why would he need us to do his work for him … His said we were supposed to be a vessel for him so he could require qi in our world couldn’t he just took our body and done the job himself ? … I don’t know if he’s actually dead or not though … As for his excuse for giving up he said that his love wouldn’t forgive him for what he had done and that she would be scared of him so what is the point of doing it if he won’t get what he wants in the end ?

he couldn’t take our body that’s the whole point, our grandfather sealed it so he couldn’t communicate to us like he did to the others, that’s the whole reason. we made him relive his memories and made him want to give it up he couldn’t take our body like he planned so he gave up

There’s no reason for Tang Wei to lie to us. Like, zero. He is so strong that any lie is pointless, and MC was in his hand. There are also no reason for him entrusting to MC any meaningful task because he would do it better, faster and more efficient.
Tang Wei just tired of living and basically committed glorified suicide.

Well, this is not entirely true. Remember that Tang Wei’s master was also much stronger than him and tried to deceive him. If it weren’t for his girlfriend, his master would have stolen his power.

yeah, and then basically gave us the go ahead to live a life he never could, because he was too jaded by the past. essentially he awas reborn through mc, saw that his memories didnt trauatize us and was like ok im yoinking out. am i really te only person attratced to long chen tho like cmon, pls give us poly route with chen and tang ruo.

Fair point, but I don’t think that’s the case here. While Tang Wei’s Master plan needed rituals and specific conditions, Tang Wei’s original plan way more straightforward.

Yes, it’s true. But I doubt that Tang Wei needs body swap. After all, he was able to create a brand-new body for MC, so it would be strange to not be able to do the same but for himself.

More than rituals and special conditions, I believe the plan actually needed Tang Wei to become stronger, to form his core or something similar—I don’t remember it entirely. The rituals were just a way to steal his power.
To create the body he had to die, so I don’t think he could do whatever he wanted with the current power he had, unless he’s pretending and he’s alive, which would raise a lot of questions about why he faked his death. Honestly, I also believe he’s dead, but I don’t rule out that there might be a plot twist and he’s been deceiving us all this time.
After all, he was doing the same thing with Little Demon Queen and Long Chen, although I could be wrong since I don’t remember everything I read.

i also didnt really care about the hostage so maybe thats me. chen gives antihero vibes and im so invested to know his history with all the nobility around him. especially the hostages. like legit. i feel like he got strung around when he first came to the sect and now hes kinda forced to claw his way trough all the short sighted deicsios he made

I don’t know what you’re referring to with this point, to be honest, because both Long Chen and the Little Demon Queen had Tang Wei’s help. There’s a reason he managed to become the current strongest Peak-Houtian.
I guess I’ll never find out what he’s like with people close to him because even before reaching the expedition, I already considered him an enemy. So, there’s no way I’ll arrive with a friendship of 60, especially after he killed Jing Guo. I could modify the stats just to see that dialogue, but anyway, I had already decided to team up with Mei Mei against him, so at this point, I won’t change my opinion about him, for sure.
I wasn’t that close to Guo, but that bastard killed him, ruining the restaurant. Without Guo, it’s sure to go bankrupt, so he practically ruined my business.

Summary
if you have an over 60 relationship with him, after the fight with xiwen and ruo, you can talk to him on the trek to the volcano and you get some insight into his character. basically puts a lot into perspective. i recommend doing the ai beast quest, and then using golden seeds to best him to unlock the dialogue. made me view his charactr differently after my third playthrough but tbh i never befriended guo so that might be my bias speaking

also have to use goldenseeds to finish him. using 99999 failures automatically makes him hate you
oh lol… mei mei… i liked fairy mei until she tried to poison mc like three separate times sob. so i used her to get 99999 failures and houtian pill, and then ratted her out to long chen. hashtag we hate he clan in these parts. also i never really tried to cozy up to jing guo. he gave me snake vibes at some parts like trying to scam us. i kind wanna know what his clan did to be so disliked. i think they are going broke too, theres just soe much lore to unpack im so excited for the next update. oh and another note on mei, i want her to go mask off so bad, the cutesy act to a crazy maniac could be so good. kinda like that one scene from classroom of elite.

From what is known about the Jing clan, they appear to have connections amongst commoners for the purpose of making they business popular and rich but at the same time gaining hatred from the other noble clans due to this and as long chen hate for the clan it is pretty obvious that he falled in love with a female Jing clan member, possible a cousin to Jing guo and she swindled long chen for everything he got and leaving him heart broken

Well he does have no enemies, like all the people who hurt him physical, emotionally and mentally are all gone or dead, and right now he is practically at the pinnacle with the title as the strongest, and if u got no competition it can get pretty lonely especially if you have been using a obsession to keep yourself going through the years, all to just realized that he will just repeat the same path over again and what Tang wei is doing kinda reminds me of Omni man than thorfinn

btww i have a theory that anothr one of the tang wei clones has started cultivation before us. just saying
long chen tells us about Tang Wei’s other clones, they died in the first renaissance, apparently only the mc, Long Chen and the little demon queen (I don’t remember her name) survived.
