I think it’s a bit late, but I would have liked to turn MH when LC killed my chubby friend, like Gohan when he became SSJ2 against Cell jajaja
I’m still wondering when we’re gonna be able to kill Long Chen, especially us Ai fans. He has a light aura of being too untouchable: his introductory text focuses on how “handsome” he is, and even though we can at least provoke beings more powerful than us, you can only really stand up to him with a story-related power up. Afterward, he still manages to get you at a stalemate with a somewhat convoluted plan to get spared. Then he disfigures an RO and you can’t do or say too much, even if it gets your ass kicked.
Either the author has a great comeuppance arc that will earn some kind of character development out of him that also upholds the cultivation fantasy aspect of the game by letting us exceed him, or the vibe will be real wonky real fast.

You forgot the part where it’s all a plan of said RO to get him dishonored and expelled, a plan he fell for line, hook and sinker. That is the comeuppance he was already served by a villain of the story.

Yep, but i was under the impression that due to the change in trainning. The fruit from the schemer just give Dao exp only.

Excuse me, I have a question. I recently learned that in the game you have the possibility of receiving a kind of… blessing from a goddess? Something like that. Could someone tell me where I can get that and what I need to do to get it?

don’t entirely remember it, or if it’s fully correct…
but iirc, you need 100 kindness and chose to die, should say something about unknown consequences. Then the goddess will intervene and give you the blessing.
this is during the core disciple tourney, fighting against 6 havoc disciples or something like that?

Just a small note, this event can also be triggered with less than full kindness. While it won’t result in long-term blessing, it can still grant the MC a full heal which can be pretty useful.

Question is: will it allow me to tap dat goddess? If so, it’s worth it, otherwise, even if I normally play chaotic good characters, I’d rather not be locked into being unable to commit atrocities when I deem it adequate (PLEASE NICKY, I NEED THIS! I NEED TO ANIHILLATE THE HE CLAN!)

Goody two shoes in a world of brutal wuxia martial artist is a great vibe tbh, underdog against almost half the known world. I remember first time I got that blessing, was awesome to get something for being a good person come hell or high water.
Combine that with an Ai romance and it’s a wonderful story

If MC dies, they come back to life with 1 hp, at the cost of 5 dao points. Note, you need to be at 100 kindness during the periodic stat check for it to work, and if the kindness score drops below 80 you lose the blessing permanently.
