WIP Grey Swan - Birds of a Rose Update 26.04.25 total 200k

Dos the demo end at “Your nest is awaiting you.”? I keep getting this error message.

Fixed it, thanks for catching that!
It ends shortly after sadly.

I still didn’t get used to the new demo, but i like that the story starts slowly and we know the normal day of MC before the drama begins. I can’t wait to see the occult volier (i wonder what they can get away with in a cult?)! But i think there are took much voliers now.

I had to do a double take, because I thought I saw “Rosenkranz” in the name list.

But I’m confused now: how can the MC and Droznik split a nest between them, if the MC is supposed to be responsible of girls? Or did I misread something?

The number of voleries didnt change. I just changed the way you can pick them a bit.

There will still be the normal pick with all voleries listed (according to points), but you can also choose to join voleries earlier.

You missed a sentence:
Of course not the other five girls you were supposed to lead.

But how is that splitting a nest between them, then? Instead of, say, both just getting a half nest separately? (Which I’d think would also make sense, unless the Academy always has exactly a specific amount of kids, which… sounds… very difficult?)

I will rewrite that part, seems like that’s a case where I translated a word wrong in my head :joy:

Will there be more to the name choices? I really love the variations in the old WIP especially the name Alérion

Also… we’re SO romancing the Phoenix (sorry Astoria :pensive:)
Call us a bull 'cause we keep chasing the red flags :triangular_flag_on_post::triangular_flag_on_post::triangular_flag_on_post:

The name choices are the same as in the old demo! I might add more when I find something fitting.

:ox: astoria won’t mind!
I am trying to keep the number of red flags down.

very.difficult.reading.

Please elaborate, so the author can understand more of what may be done to better polish the writing. And do please remember that English is not the author’s first language. I personally think the story has a certain poetic feel that is very cozy but dark at the same time. Perhaps this is not your taste, if so, feel free to look for other IFs that may be easier for you to read and you can support

Awww that’s so sweet  the vibe I am going for, I hope I manage to stick to it!

Also, new update just dropped  first blood donation, meet the Nest a bit more, got rid of the tbas!

I read “first blood” due to how my browser places line breaks, and was “…what?” for a moment.

Fixes it, thanks!

I never had photos of the RO (in any of my WIPs), you are maybe thinking of another IF?

Small bug in the new update, I only get the french bird name options even when selecting that my Wing is named after an English or German bird.
As well as this bit near the end having a repeating line;

X loves neither of them.

They should bond over their shared misplaced feelings.

X loves neither of them.

Anyway outside that it’s nice that we’re finally back in the school and meeting the kids though it’s still too early in for me to say anymore.

I tried to recreate this bug but didnt manage it, did anyone else have that problem?

Thanks for letting me know
There is something wrong with most of those small scenes, I noticed it on various places where it really wasnt supposed to show up while playing! I will go over those during the weekend!

I get same names for German and British birds, but French ones are different? (If they’re actually French or German or British, I have no idea of.)

Assuming there’s not some other choice confusing the issue, I didn’t pick the same options every single time afterwards.
