Well I quit being addicted to finding most of the conversation paths with the doc and her gun. I’ve passed through my addiction to finding out everything my shrink has to say. Now I am addicted to finding out all the things Ortega has to tell me.
This might have been easier if I could do some of them at the same time. But I’m really not that bright. And if i try to focus on more the one outcome at a time I get confused and mess them up.
Anyway I have a problem. I might need an intervention. Or by the time this game comes out the MC won’t be the only one dreaming about Ortega.
My mc on your route, kinda is realistic when it come down to society . After all, for my MC . If they couldn’t change Ortega mind to give up on them, what are the chances of changing the mass ?
Removing the scars, all it does is that you can’t be tracked I think . And it also mean, finally looking human . real .
But I also know, that depression, suicidales thoughs, and lack of sleep- wouldn’t just dissapear with the scars . Those things stick around .

Maybe mentally in your head you might feel better. But I’m pretty sure that you aren’t one of a kind. Or at the very least the people you are worried most about, already know what you look like. I mean, they made you. So removing the tattoos in no way shape or form would protect you from them. At best it keeps anyone who might see them and report you right away from doing that. But even without the tattoos it isn’t like you are going to go streaking… You weren’t going streaking were you?

But that pretty much hits the nail on the head. With or without the tats, the mc didn’t have an identity before their Sidestep days. Even if they wanted to help, any one of the Ranger’s you genuinely befriend would have their hands tied by bureaucratic BS. The mc would be tossed back into their worst nightmare, possibly permanently. And the friends your mc has that choose to interfere? Prison is the lightest punishment I can imagine, despite the circumstances presented likely being unprecedented in their world.
Paints a grim picture when you really dig into it.
As for the blending-in part my mc could actually start to wear normal clothes for the weather for the most part. Which means short sleeves on many occasions, instead of the eternal hoodie and long-sleeved layers.
Plus possible sexy times with Danny.
Removing the tattoos also means removing the barcode, which means it couldn’t be read by any yahoo cop with a scanner anymore. So that’s a very real added layer of protection.
Lastly as for the people who “made” us, my mc’s whole scheme is for them to not be around anymore and for the Farm and all of its records to be destroyed, even if that means destroying a lot of other people and parts of the current US government as well.
I’m not sure my MC would want to wear normal clothes. They do have a lot of scars. I believe at one point it is mentioned how mangled one of our arms is. Although I guess maybe the machine can fix that too? I’ll be as smooth as a babies bottom!
I think the machine will regenerate all body maybe even if pc wants shaping our body a little? Just my idea. As there is already in setting certain regenerative stuff even if until know are pretty meh. like mortum scars shows.

My mc is not worried about Ortega she’s not the one he wants sex with. As for the scars we can always re-add those minus the barcode and garish tats
Otherwise since my mc and Argent are both good with tech just say we combined our knowledge to invent a new device. No need to mention a secret government conspiracy.
Yeah my MC wouldn’t just out themselves like that. I was mostly just amusing myself. Although if Ortega was ruthless enough she could probably force them in to a confession with some sort of ultimatum. My Mc would either break down crying and blurt out everything, or come out swinging. Either would be bad.
But as for the rest the scars don’t matter. if you went either Argent or Mortum with the Mc you had to tell them/they don’t care.Unless you kept up the Eden disguise.
So I am super intrigued about How the game wil turn out because I am in stats in demo . 60 Ortega a ghost from past.
More than 80 with Argent 80 with Steel as an ally and 90 for Hot Danny.
Will I be able to turn rest of characters against Ortega and steal xhis place?
It would be so satisfactory as a villain turn all hate and everything against Ortega. And stealing Ortega place. In my case Doom has never killed a soul only have done was steal banks and casinos . She is all sympathetic and cool with media Has lots of fans. Also all respect her I could see something like that.

It is tricky and easy to miss argent. I may get some of this wrong or miss a step so anyone who as done it different feel free to correct me.
as far I can tell the first fight with Argent has to end without you guys being enemies. Then you have to decide to go to the auction as your villain. Go to it, not attack it after it started. Then you have to look at the auction pieces notice the strange lady and go over. then talk to her. It is argent! Offer to be her escort. Then after you get the gun you will notice she is up to something. Follow and want to talk. Then you can end up showing her you tats and yourself.
I am not sure how different it is if you know about the regen device before hand, since I haven’t figured out what triggers that. And most my play throughs I don’t know about it.
As I said these might not be the only way or the only conditions to get there, so if you have different ones awesome. But this is the way I’ve found to it.
Funny thing Is like i not player a criminal villain and is all sarcasm and innuendo I have always had the choice . I thought it was straightforward lineal as is a very very important choice for the storyline. So is not linear then what happens?
@malinryden Just a though maybe will be better do that scene easy to trigger or let clear for players. Because I fear that casuals with lost easily a scene that is very well crafted and key to storyline. Maybe make a similar scene later for the people that missed it. Just a suggestion.
