It just makes the most sense if you look at the molds of hero characters
Fun fact: Ortega and the MC both were the main characters for their respective stories when they were books. I fused them for this tale.

It could very well also be Ortega. In fact considering the nature of how both mc and oretga are connected more so than Herald and mc, your theory would be more accurate if it was Ortega. They have the longest deepest connection with them if you are friends and above .And considering the nemesis path with oretga. Your theory would maybe make more sense if Ortega/mc have a distant relationship. In that scenario anyone could be the main protagonist.
Trueā¦but I was also thinking this as a CC game, where if this was a different CC game we would more then likely be put in place as Herald, new member, youngest member, beautiful, etc

But this makes me wonder about some stuff about what would be canon or not. Were Ortega and MC in a relationship or just friends? Was MC a massive brooding asshole or were they good at faking happiness? Also most importantly, how did Heralds legs get broken? Itās not an if itās a how.

The only canon is what is inside Fallen Hero: Rebirth right now. Not even the stuff in this WiP is canon, its subject to change still.

Well then I wonder what the ācanonā route would be. There always tends to be a canon way to do this stuff so I wonder what the author considers to be the canon way to do things in FHR
dont worryā¦the book will include wimpy scene with simple easy not so sadistic momentsā¦where he has to stare at alot of onions and cry and bawlā¦
but the rest of the book will be filled with vilainy moments lol

Are we allowed to know the āCanonā genders of Ortega and MC and what their relationship was?
Or do you not really know yourself or have changed it since itās unreleased state.
Also it would be cool if you release that unreleased book as a dlc or something, I know id pay a few bucks for that, but if you donāt have it or just donāt want to thatās fine. 
This guys series is basically the only reason I became a proper hardcore fan of COG games and started lurking around the forums, since it left me craving more I loved it so much.
