(WIP) Drink Your Villain Juice! (Superpowers, Horror | 356k) Updated 12th May 2025

None that I know of, you can filter games by tags, but that’s about it.

It actually feels easier to keep track of updates on the forum for me, or whatever social media the author might have.

Reattempted to check. Got same error.

Summary

Don’t know if food variable matters but he took the food earlier.

“I dunno, dude. It looks pretty weird,”
“You drop food…” - teasing
“Despite that…”
“Don’t have the heart…”
Thanks - sincere
Screw it - give name. (Used real name)
Keep convo going
I miss this
But I won’t

Appreciate this! I couldn’t see any issue in the code, so I rewrote the lines and then retraced your steps as best as I was able and didn’t get the error. I’ve reuploaded the specific scene on dashingdon. Hopefully that’ll fix it going forward, or otherwise the next full build will shake loose whatever’s going awry here.

Still an odd one, I’ve used near-identical code for every other romanced-based interaction. Maybe Alistair’s just trying to be a problem.

Writing Update

I’m estimating Ch5 part two to be done in the next few days, whoo! It depends on how deep I feel like falling into the Wil pit, I think.

No I’m not going to rephrase that.

Anyway, we’re at about +13k, we’ll see where that lands.

However, I’m also in the midst of a testing rabbit hole. I realised that quicktest has been telling me for a really long time that some lines of code aren’t accessible, and for some reason I didn’t clock what it meant.

Luckily it’s nothing earth-shattering, though it does mean parts of the Surpass fight have been unavailable since the literal first release. I’ll of course be taking the time to fix all of those empty segments. I don’t think it’ll take too long.

Will we be able to adjust how our forms looks later in the future? Like on the finer details? For example, if I got the monster form, can I adjust it to look similar to Venom? And if I got the Armored Carapace, can I make it look like either a Knight, Power Ranger, Football Player or more? And for nodes, making the shapes and forms of their features similar to hounds, feline, avian, insect, etc? I feel like it would make sense to be able to do it if we were able to get achieve a better mastery on our powers.

Thanks for checking it out. Will clear cache and cookies on browser and see if maybe it’s a local issue then.

I like the no control over how it appears. Makes my wish I didnt have this kick better.

When i decide to do the accepted or like this path, i do agree with you.

Maybe, if gets applied that it depends on personality trait?

Im having no real interest until i learn fate of partner, to pursue a criminal RO yet.

Question is, we unable to try and investigate after CG no longer in touch? This going to be viable within the 2 days or so after Ranger fight?

Extensive power-based customisation I’m leaning more on the no than yes.

I’d love to be able to give options everywhere. The problem is that to make them more than superficial, I have to allocate more development time towards alternative flavour text. Even just a passing mention can swiftly add up if I have to factor, for example, three sets of choices per speciality. Oh but one of the customisations is visible all the time, while the other only matters if there’s a node out, so I then have to make sure I code it such that it is only mentioned with speciality A vs. B and… so on.

I’m considering an opportunity to review one’s ‘look’ with the membrane out, but that, if I do include it, will likely be quite basic.

To peel back the curtain a little, there are several variables being tracked under the hood regarding all manner of things, up to and including how the MC generally feels about their powers, and I don’t want to drop my plates by trying to have too many spinning at once.

You know, I didn’t even consider this and that feels like an oversight. I’ve added an option for the next build.

#Now's my best shot at learning what happened after that night. Maybe even finding my friends. [Look into previous events]

Thanks. I wasnt sure if was forgotten or not. There is an old ROs attitude and personality I preferred over the current villainous group as of yet. One or two maybe but cant get the idea of priors out.

Patreon Update - Chapter 5, part two!

Second big update of the month! Yay! It will be publically released on the 20th of March.

  • 18k new words on top of the existing CH5’s 30k, taking the game to 160k!

  • Learn what mission lies ahead for the Altruists, and learn more about how the Zone came to be.

  • Hunt for secret insights into your targets. But be careful.

  • Share a moment with Wil, and perhaps even a little more?

  • Report to Control Group. Which secrets will you keep? Which will you tell?

  • Bond with Control Group?

  • Drink Your Villain Juice!

  • …unless.

Some additions/fixes, also!

  • Further choices with Wil added at the debriefing, including one rather tsundere choice if that’s been your dynamic.

  • New option to look into the fate of AdVenture.

  • Restored an inaccessible option allowing you to claim to Dion that checking on the Patrol was part of a personal code of conduct.

  • Teddie getting pissed off at you for endangering Kay now routes properly to the rest of the scene.

That’s not all! Public fixes!

  • Added the ability to skip to Chapter 4. Once again, coding skips is new to me, so I apologise if anything is jank, and I’ll try to fix it ASAP.

  • Restored missing branches to the nodes/mutations routes through the Surpass fight. Unfortunately they’re failure states, so have fun!

  • Restored a missing branch with Prii; now you can tearfully confess your feelings as they die in your arms! Wait.

  • Added new code/flavour text to restrict certain pseudonyms, including Dime.

  • Asking Hypothesis about the earbud now actually tests your skills as it’s supposed to.

  • Added a reaction for abdominal maw MCs if they show off to Mallory.

  • Fixed the choice to bluff Dion at the end of the briefing so you can actually fail it as was intended.

Playing through the new update from the start and uh, when it comes to choosing your power only one is available, the semi-independant node creation. Not the other two.

Ah heck, yeah. I did something dumb with the formatting

I’ve pushed a fix.

Nope, definitely not forgotten!

Though it may not be a happy outcome, considering…

I suspect the one will die via Beth. (Even though I did ask her to promise me.) I do not see them living cause of the Coven.

I already suspect them dead, its the difference of knowing versus not knowing.

Yes! Body horror and villain mc! Best combination. Not even counting trauma in the past, where a part of it is still a mystery and an upcoming betrayal with having to set on who to betray… Well…it’s not true that I’m not counting it. Because all together this makes for an awesome setup and I’m eagerly fidgeting in my seat, waiting for the new update.

Public update - Chapter 5, part two!

This is now live on dashingdon!

It all seems to be running smoothly. As always if you encounter any weirdness or bugs let me know and I’ll look into them ASAP.

I’m guessing I shouldn’t use my old save since I the last time I played this was when the demo ended when your brother? or whatever showed up and pinned you against the wall.

Yeah I think there’s an approximately 0% chance the previous save will work
