id like to play an apathetic character but sometimes the dialogue choices make me cringe a bit 
to me apathy is more like acknowledging something and then disregarding it for a reason, rather than just saying stuff like nothing matters LOL

Lol, yeah I see where you’re coming from.
I’m playing an MC broken by the isolation and physical torture, who has halfway bought into his own objectification, so there are moments where he just accepts everything that’s happening to him (unnerving everyone around him, lol, and offering his mother no reprieve from her own turmoil and she deserves none from him, imo). There are also moments of clarity, such as seeing the lab that processes the fruits of his suffering, and that attitude is suddenly at odds with the natural instinct to assert your humanity and related needs.
I’ll be on the lookout for more moments like that, to the point where he is asserting himself much more than just accepting his fate.

1:The mc was already back stabbed twice now.
2:These people only let you out because they had no other alternatives.
3:They fully intend to put you back after you severed your purpose. (I mean why wouldn’t they? Do an average job, they’ll probably argue that you’re useless out of being a blood bank. Do a great job and they’ll argue that you’re too dangerous to be allowed your freedom.)
And because of all that butchering everyone in site or becoming completely detached and numb to everything are completely reasonable responses in my opinion.
(and that’s coming form a dude that almost religiously plays pacifist routes).

It is possible to play an insane MC but at the same time apathetic? It would be cool to see the other characters react to a character who changes his behavior for no reason, as if they were two different people
Although it would probably be a complicated thing to do, so it would make sense that it wouldn’t be possible

Hey, great work OP! I liked it so much that I created an account just now just to comment here so I could follow up on updates!
I do have some minor nitpicks and suggestions, feel free to disregard though!
1 - [nitpick] when meeting Morganna for the first time, she sips her wine too many times during your conversation, in the middle of her dialogue. It feels as if she’s doing it on purpose to spite you, not taking you seriously. I don’t think that was the intended point, right?
[suggestion] clarify in the narrative that she is drinking wine while talking to you, maybe mention once or twice “she takes another sip” but no more than that.
2- [nitpick] Thomas throws thought and reason to the wind both times he meets the protagonist, despite knowing what the protagonist is capable of. It’s a bit unrealistic, I feel that there could be a few more plot points that would make him feel bold enough to antagonize you
[suggestion] Put a bit more emphasis that he believes that you are on a leash and being held back. For example, he could notice a bit of the rune on your back, over your clothing. Or perhaps, either Morganna or Everix gave you an order ealier that you are not to harm anyone in the castle, and the rune glows or has some other visual effect that shows that it’s activated, and Thomas notices that.
3- [nitpick] Everix agrees to your fight with Thomas way too easily, considering how just a bit earlier he was trying to avoid it. And after, Everix also comes off as… Incompetent. If I was Morganna, I would immediately pass on the “leash” to someone else. I couldn’t stop thinking “what the hell did you think was gonna happen?” after I killed Thomas.
[suggestion] Have three possible scenario: fight, avoid fight, sneak.
Fight and avoid fight are what you already have. Sneak is a new one.
Basically, Everix is hesitant to let you fight Thomas and needs some convincing. You have to convince Everix to let you fight Thomas. Maybe you can argue that you’ll hold back, promise that you won’t hurt him, etc. If you manage to convince Everix, the fight happens.
If you don’t convince Everix, you have the option to just walk away or intimidate Thomas (avoid fight). Or, you can sneak attack Thomas (sneak).
Why I think this would be more interesting:
- Everix could show that he/she has some backbone and responsibility (helps explain why he/she holds the position that he/she has and why Morganna chose him/her)
- Thomas would feel emboldened to fight you (“Everix has them on a leash, there’s no way he/she will let them hurt me”)
- If you sneak attack, or kill him in the fight, shows that despite being on a leash you’re still dangerous, and the rest of your team will be wary. Could also provide an interesting conflict with Everix, making him/her realize that if there’s a next time, he/she have to command you faster than you can move, he/she can’t second guess himself/herself.

I never thought much of him honestly. He can antagonize a MC. People do, even if they see someone ‘better’ than them. Just, depends on how they view themselves as well. There are delusionals that need beat before they realize they can’t win at all. I avoid his antagonistic way myself. P shows up and stops his idiocy.
Morgana drinking? I didn’t feel that way about it. She can’t handle the pressure of what was done, what she was made to do. That is why I don’t blame her. The way she is drinking tells me, she is struggling with that. Hence, why I don’t blame her for following orders. Her drinking is a big tip off besides words of council information.

Who else enjoyed just annihilating our rival? Cutting him to pieces after in the past just trying to hurt him. It was delicious how much my MC changed.

I usually let him stab me then grab and threaten him with the “I wonder if you could survive this?” line. Just to show him how in over his head he is, maybe next time he’ll be less likely to start a fight.
And if he does well… At least they won’t be able to say I killed him in cold blood. I did give him another chance to stay far away from me.

Shes the one who made the orders as far as I’m aware, unless im mistaken. She could’ve just killed you but didn’t want to, so she chose torturing you for years cause at least she got to keep you alive.

So far I have negative opinion to almost everyone, except the cultist boy, i have nothing against MC’s handler but depending on where she stand she might be enemy as well, the dam is close to bursting though, I’ll hold going aggressive until I heard some explanation or heard what this people have to say.

Mother is not the top decision maker, she is head of this facility but she doesn’t occupy central decision maker which is the King and Council.
Even if she’s feeling guilty that doesn’t mean shiet if she still left MC in prison without doing anything to make situation better, it’s not like MC is just being chained, MC also tortured with gruesome device, if she’s having remorse or objection such treatment will not be the case, while MC is being imprisoned there is no reason to make it worse with jaw lock and multiple spike.

Lots of things i want to know one of the biggest is just what happened that got us locked up to begin with. Not to mention the fact that it seemed like the torture for our blood looks and feels from the MCs mind started almost immediately as if something was known even years ago. Even if we the MC didnt know the reason for it until after freed of the cell and got introduced to the elf lady.
Thats just some of the things and there isnjust so much more that is unknown and suspected going to prove very interesting no matter how we play are MCs.

If was possible? They said beheading but didn’t. It’s like they might be aware of something odd.
Gotta wait to find out how/why was locked up to begin with.
Was it our choice to keep it contained and forgot? Did we butcher unknowingly?
Until I know, I withhold judgement minus the council.
Also, what got us kicked out of the house too.
