Hi Pixel! Thank you for the kind words. Over the past two months, I increased my focus on editing and revising the male (main character) pathway.

Just a quick update:

Thank you all for playing the demo! We recently hit 15,000 views on cogdemos.com. Although the demo only contains part 1 out of 4, I’m considering the release of part 2 before beta testing.

I just played the demo and i love it, by the way, i have 2 questions about the game, will there be romance routes in any form later on with any of the characters ? And what will be the role of each factions in the game ? I wondering which one i will choose, is there already a date for the next update ?

so I tried to play this today after the update and this is the perfect example of what annoys me most…I feel like im failing every test theres no save and I feel like im always loosing and we are in the what? first chapter….makes me sad for my mc, but I like the world and the idea.

Great game, I really love the concept and have even thought about creating something similar myself, but never got around to it. It’s actually surprising that no one has written a story based on this idea before and I’m guessing that the film “In Time” was a big inspiration for this but please do correct me if I’m wrong….overall, I’m really enjoying the game. My only problem is how quickly the player stats progress, especially since it’s just the first chapter….other than that, keep up the great work! I’ll definitely be following your progress.

Thank you so much for the feedback Azan! I really appreciate you taking the time to play through the demo and share your thoughts.

I actually did see the movie earlier this year (perhaps March or April with my Father) to which I thought it was a solid movie. But I want to assure you that my novel goes in a completely different direction. The wrist timer concept is really the only thing they have in common. Honestly, I wish more writers explored this subgenre because I’ve searched everywhere for books with similar themes (not just choose your own adventure games) and haven’t found much. So in a way, I’m writing the kind of story I wanted to read myself.

I completely hear you on the stat progression. It’s genuinely one of the trickiest things to balance. I’ve kept the system as is for now but made sure players can still purchase items even if their time goes negative. Is it illogical? Yes, absolutely. But without that flexibility, too many players wouldn’t get past the first chapter, which would be too frustrating. I’m still tweaking things as I develop.

I’ve written about 170,000 words of actual text so far (not counting code), and the full game should end up well over a half a million words when you factor in all the branching paths and code. That’s pretty standard for Hosted Games. Right now I’m working on Part 4 and drafting Part 5 (including several different ending paths).

I’m also studying engineering at the same time, so I apologize for the inconsistent updates on Part 1. Balancing both has been challenging, but I’m committed to finishing this project (full release on steam and the hosted game app)

Thanks again for your support and for following the development! It really means a lot.

Yes it is, however I am writing a unique male pathway with a slightly different setting and plot!
