Thanks, will do. As soon as I have something put together I’ll send a copy your way.
Personally I think she’s fine being just an asshole, not every villain needs to be reluctant or anything. I’d imagine her mother always talked down the MC and their mother and raised her to hate you for being weak and the heir, in her eyes shes stronger and more qualified, so her loathing you make sense.
I beat Pythia with chaos on my third try. That entropy thing, I don’t know whether it is exclusive for only chaos. She blacks us out tho when she goes one knee after being beaten
Until the MC become the demon lord or archdevil and because of her hatred and her mother hatred created a monster the world isn’t ready for
I hope im not forced to get wings and horns. Those are my least favorite. If anything can get the horn size choice. Lever liked large horns and are the goin to be close combat magic?
I’ll add some sort of mechanic where the player can “supress” the physical changes then, as I’ve seen several comments about this, but it won’t impact the story, so like npc’s will still react, dialogue will still change and all.
Go buy a lottery ticket right now, if you really did beat her through luck alone lol.
Yh that entropy blood rot thing helped and she used Absolution when her health bar was pretty low
Finally some good story with my personal type of power (blood + darkness) , can’t wait for more updates
Keep up the good work
Wow this is great so far. Looking forward to more. Just a few spelling mistakes. Going to enjoy getting revenge on the MCs bstard family.
I managed to beat the sister by inflicting her with bloodrot and spamming evasion plus save scumming
You can reliably beat her by rerolling her stance (going to stat page and back) until she’s on the defensive and then attacking but just like savescumming its technically cheating. And time consuming.
Haven’t managed to luck out with Chaos yet but I imagine there’s some method to it I’m missing.
Bah, I don’t really mind save scumming. It the players game to do what they want with, and if thats how they like to play it, go ahead.
I will be fiddling with the stance rerolling on save though. Not to prevent save scumming, but just cause it might be a bother when your excpecting one attack, checking your spells, then the attack changing. Thanks for raising the point.
Dunno if it updates people when I edit, so here’s a comment. And a cat.

Unless they’re watching the thread like I am, nope. Tip: Putting a small summery of updates in the comments section is pretty useful. Just to prevent needing to scroll all the way to the top.
Gotta be honest. I’m addicted. Hook, line, and sinker.
Ohhh, I like this! Amazing start, I like how the flavor text on that scene after you choose your gift changes depending on which one you choose, that’s really neat. I also quite enjoy the combat system you implemented, it has me itching to fight more people lol! And I’m quite curious how our fiancée will react when we meet them again since they seem close to the MC. Can’t wait to see more!
Very promising start! One of the biggest problems I have with fantasy is getting invested in a new world, so I appreciate that the demo gets right to business. I definitely prefer things as they are now to how they would be with the prologue included. And on reworking chapter 1, while more characterization for Pythia would be nice, the world-building is already sufficient, and a whole extra day might drag. But those are just my opinions, of course.
Youhoo. Next version should be coming out soon, but before that I wanted to ask you guys for your opinion. Essentially, as things are right now, all attacks by enemies share the same accuracy, but I’ve begun to shift away from that and into varying attack accuracy’s depending on the move. So, I’ve got a couple options:
- Modify the same system, where under the target’s stats it will display an average accuracy.
- Straight-up tell you what a moves accuracy is after it’s been executed.
- Remove it all-together and keep it hidden.
- Something else.
Anyways, if anyone prefers an option to the other, tell me soon or I’ll flip a coin or something.
You could make it an option where we can turn off or on whether we want to see the accuracy stat or keep it hidden. That way it can be up to how the reader feels if they want to know or be fully immersed.
I can’t say much more because I have yet to battle. My MC’s first instinct in his confusion was to try to talk and not fight. Got knocked out.
