None of these options actually provide any of the supposed benefits, they just take shards from you.;/
(you get some silver back at some point with bubblebrew
of 3+ but that seems to be all. ._.
edit: another small bug, this time with lunargoth seals
*if ({runesealritual#1} = 1)
#Investigate the unusual stones.
"What are these stones?" You ask, looking over two ovals of plain grey stone etched with iridescent blue symbols.
"Ah, you have an eye for the fantastical!" The shopkeeper declares, rubbing his hands together. "What you see before you is the culmination of Gothic antiquated sealing. Runestones, I believe they are called. The original Lunargoths imbued their power into stones rather than handseals. Fat lot of good it did them, but some among their kind still swear by the practice in Outer East."
"So I hold these instead of casting handseals?"
"I've positively no idea how they function." The old Oni man says with a shrug, rubbing his white, pointed beard. "They do not respond to the touch of an Oni. Nor Yokai or Humans, for that matter."
*if (race != "Lunargoth")
"Then why did you show them to me?"
The old man shrugs with eyes closed as he returns behind the desk and hops atop his floating cloud. "Is it not common to boast about one's rarities?"
*elseif (race = "Kitsune")
"But for a Kitsune like me..." You say out loud, looking them over.
"A what?" The Oni asks, noticing your two tails for the first time. "Good Heavens, get away from the stones, you damned thief spirit!"
He pulls the runestones into his pocket and shoos you away as he locks them in a box behind the counter. "Only Seals for your kind. I've tempered them against trickery, so do not even entertain the thought!"
*else
"But for a Lunargoth like me..."
"Try your luck." The shopkeeper replies. "I'll sell you them for ninety Shards."
You gaze at the price tag compared to the other wares in the store. "It's not a very high price..."
The shopkeeper tilts his head in concession. "I am curious to see them in action."

//...
*if (runesealritual = 20000000000000000)
You pick up the runestone and roll it over in your hand. The iridescent blue ink seems to swirl in place along the carving on the stone's face, like a river of power in constant motion.
The check which is supposed to detect the first time MC tries out the stone never passes, because at this point the value of variable starts with 3 (initial 1, increase by 1 when entering the “investigate” branch as lunargoth for the first time, and finally another +1 on every stone purchase, plus some additional value added to record which stone type(s) the MC has bought. So to detect the first use, the game should be checking for runesealritual#1 = 3
instead.
A separate couple of issues is that it increases the value with each purchase, meaning it’ll eventually reaches values of 10+ and bug the shit out of the whole variable. Plus, the other option
*elseif ({runesealritual#1} = 2)
*selectable_if ((((shards + (silver / 10)) + (gold * 10)) >= 90) and (race = "Lunargoth")) #Purchase the runestones. [90 Shards, Requires Lunargoth]
*goto purchaserunes
Totally isn’t prepared for it, effectively allowing the player to only buy a single rune.
