WAIT you’re right!! I guess since I checked the RO page beforehand and saw Jack is not a RO, any “strange” move or talk he does im just like “nah I’m overthinking”. Just code dived and found out we get different conversation based on gender! Specially one stuck out to me is “for you (female)” vs “thanks to you (male)”.
Oh my…. that change things. I mean I thought Jack was a bit obsessed but I was like “yea you better be cuz my MC is your ultimate rival for life”. but whoa :0…. You know what I like that as well. The twisted rivalry fused with hatred, obsession, and hidden admiration…. definitely some kind of unhealthy obsession is going on here…Love this.
My intention is yes, though the feMC romance options will need rewrites and polishing when I finish the main book because writing female-reader smut is very new to me, right now it’s more like a placeholder.
Adding onto that, I recieved some solid advice that appears true for female romance stories which is “it’s just like male harem stories, only the male ROs are at each other’s throats.” So reconciling that into good writing (goodluck, me) and a harem ending would probably entail being a sort of unspoken harem, where you’re with each of them and they’re still actively competing.
I’m open to ideas, wishes, and criticisms for it. Right now the main problem is lack of spice and lack of small but vital reactivity, the little descriptions like changing how someone’s posture is described or how they look at you or glare off when you mention someone else. I think I can get more spice for Guiren when reaching Nanhou now that he can start upping his presence, but especially more if feMCs work Goro, Brass Tiger, or Jack into the mix now that we’ve reached later chapters.
FemMcs need to have special Jack interactions when we finally fight him, it’d be hilarious to start a ro with him by making him fumble at every moment while fighting.
If Kiihakai and Aoyusumu eventually get flight, Midorikatai gets big jumps, and Akakiru gets literal portals, what does Kurokonton get? If yin-sourced chi can work like a rope or pulley, couldn’t it simulate ODM gear from AOT?
I think you could easily get a kind of ‘shadow step’ type of deal or something that ‘shrink’ the space between you and your target, essentially looking like you teleported or went super fast.
That could work, but that would massively expose your aura to everyone around you AND cost more chi as you’re contracting a relatively large amount of space. In comparison to the thin “chains” of yin chi that our MC is trained in placing around themselves during Guiren’s training arc, it’s just not that optimal unless you’re confident you could just blitz a fight with no diff (or desperate )
ok, but when you feel terrible pain in your back or break your pelvic bones, remember that I warned you (I admit that this is a stylish way to move but it must do tremendous damage to your body)
just looked up Coldsteel the hedgehog and i can’t believe odm is being compared to that personally didn’t like aot’s ending but i thought the power/movement system was prett ycool
