Thanks for you hard work.
Loved it. The only thing I don’t like is the way the ROs are limited to heterosexual. I like playing with female MCs, that doesn’t mean I want to romance a guy.
I started reading this book with the thought that no book could best poma but boyy was I wrong!
This is now my number one most anticipated book to update.
I read some other good books but they felt ai assisted but yours is so natural, and the fact that the mc doesn’t feel restricted even though there isn’t much that is special about them and also the fact that your strength is dependent on how you build your character and not being treated like an NPC is just an icing on top!!
Do you have patreon cause I really need me them early updates😋.
I thank the Heavens for PoMA and this game. One of the most interesting genres and your writing style, pacing and world-building makes this WIP a potential masterpiece. And I haven’t even finished the demo.
“Show me a good time, Jack!”
Holy sh*t, it’s a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance reference.
Hello, just played it all, and I’m curious about somethings.
First, at the 1 year training, we get the weighed clothes, some AP gains are affected by it, some are not, is this intended or a bug?
Second the only way to use elemental power is using chi or is it because we are only at beginner level?
Third there is some kind of 2nd advancement? If yes when this is supposed to happen? (I mean the first one is 100ap, the second would be AP related too or number of cores, or something else)
Fourth I made kousuke advance by themselves at one playthrough, in the sect mission, how can I do it again so I don’t have to spend 2 months on it?
Get her to eat from the tree on the bandit raid i think u need 2 insight
I’m sure the second advancement is when you get your immortal core.
And we would get it at like 20 cores, or 1000 AP, or something like this, or it’s like “you need do understand to advance” so we would get it with the plot, and it does not matter our stats at the time?
I don’t really know because I kinda messed around with the stats using the console to turn my MC into a God, but the immortal core advancement happens when you fight the guy with the edgy book supposedly made with human flesh.
Oh you mean when we use AP to get new cores? I think it’s just a way to train, not a real advancement. Like after 100 aura points we get a qualitative change in power.
It is a way to train (I think, maybe it is a variable to advancement idk). Immortal core advancement is the second advancement, the first is when you get your aura and/or mortal cores (Idk if you get both aura and mortal cores at the same time I forgot). As I said earlier I messed with the console to basically make my MC a God so I passed all the checks, the checks might have been a variable to getting the immortal core, or it might not be I really don’t know, maybe you get it through the plot either you pass the checks or not.
Your first Advancement is a big deal but beyond that most Advancements are smaller in scale. The only other big burst you’ll get is a Transformation Advancement which is beyond the MC for now. I believe there’s a book describing Advancements in the library (and I aim to add more books as it goes on).
This setting doesn’t have the typical Xianxia stages but rather has (for most people) soft caps on how high your Aura Pressure can get without some sort of special training. Akin to Namek Saga’s Frieza’s Army, where you have thousands of people who are strong but only a few who can break passed the plateau to stand out among them.
So if this is frieza saga power levels will future sequels have us going beyond that?
Hopefully over 9000.
lol i was gonna add this to my post but decided against it
It’s tough to scale because Nappa seemed so much stronger than, say, Cui, but Cui’s PL was 18,000 while Nappa’s was 4,000. When comparing it to Frieza’s Army I just meant how there can be so many strong people treated like basic shock troops.
If we had to think of it in DBZ terms, the first half of this game was Dragonball and the second half of this game will be Saiyan Saga. I’d say 1k AP is similar to 1k PL (minus Piccolo and Roshi blowing up the moon) but it’s not going to skyrocket as quickly after that. You’ll keep gaining between 2AP and 40AP at a time, increases aren’t percentage based like in DBZ where someone with 100k trains for an extra 10k. It’s more like 10k being the world’s strongest ascending to the Heavens.
@fingerplayer nice
tl;dr, my apologies dear players. You’re all Radditz.
Well at least we aren’t yamcha
excited for the next update
lol so we’re basically saibamen I guess that would make Mao Vegeta and maybe Jack would be Nappa
Btw would children born from martial artists preferably where both parents are martial artists with high AP have any type of genetic benefit?
