(WIP) Aura Clash SFW Discussion [466k Words (624k Patreon) | Eastern Fantasy | Adventure | Martial Arts]

I think this bug could be better addressed by me adding a “Next Page” button with some flavor text baiting people to click it after spending AP to buff a stat. That way it fixes the issue without breaking immersion. As-is, it reroutes you to the Cultivation Page without turning the page, and I think that’s the issue.

Yeah no actually your the one lying and I don’t understand why you would when you can clearly go and read above what was said

This was the response I first mentioned the bug this person was clearly implying that the stats was supposed to function this way which it is not supposed to.

Then hear again he reiterates how all published games function like this which they do not. And if you are claiming by they do I would love for you to provide some examples. I only play published games via the mobile app so maybe that’s why I don’t experience it. But nowhere in these responses is an acknowledgment that this was a bug. There is however a very clear attempt in stating that the it was not a bug but an intended feature.

It’s also wierd how passionate you are on defending a bug that does nothing but hinder a persons play through of a game to the point you don’t even want them talking about it and going so far as to call them a liar when they bring it up. It’s just wierd.

And I already said several times even in I my initial post when I first brought up the bug that it was likely a problem with choicescriot itself so your entire point on me needing to share correct information is invalid. And I’m sure you’re gonna try to call me a liar to try to make your argument seem valid I’m going to link that comment below.

I however would suggest to you to not try to attack people who are reporting bugs about a game as it discouraged people from doing so in the future. The whole point of us trying out a game before it’s finished is to detect things like this so the author can make adjustments as needed if he/she sees fit to do so.

I never once made a comment to the author or a suggestion saying they need to fix this themselves. So watch your mouth the next time you call someone a liar. @Leonard_Gondola

Okay, tell me what I lied about since you don’t mention anything about what I lied about, while I did tell you where you lied, either out of ignorance or another reason.

I don’t understand your point. I don’t know if this is how it was intended to work with the stats, but this is how it works in all games that change stats from the stats menu. So, arguing whether it’s intentional or not doesn’t make sense because this is how it functions.

And this gives me the impression that you haven’t read anything I said. I mentioned that this is a bug that happens in all published games on DashingDon on the web. So, you’re spreading false information that it doesn’t happen in published games without knowing. So, what’s your point really? I already mentioned it, and you keep going around the same issue.

At what point am I defending this bug? What I said is that it doesn’t make sense to mention a general DashingDon bug unless someone asks about it because, first, the author can’t fix it, and second, the forum would be filled with the same information if everyone talks about these bugs without anyone asking about that doubt. We assume that most people know about this general bug, and those who don’t know will ask the question, and it will be answered. But we don’t go to the authors’ forums to report a general DashingDon bug that the author can’t resolve in itself.

It’s pretty obvious where you lied and how you have been defending the bug this whole time if you honestly can’t see this for yourself there’s no point in trying to. Explain it to you.

Are you saying I’m attacking you when you were the one who started arguing that it’s not a bug that happens in all DashingDon games published on the web? And I’m telling you that you’re wrong? Sure, whatever you say. And about the bug in the game, this is false again. It’s not a direct bug in the game but rather in DashingDon itself. It’s true that it can be solved by removing the inventory and cultivation system from the stats menu and placing it in some points as if they were choices, perhaps every time a battle is about to start. It not only happens with the cultivation system but also with the inventory items, in case you didn’t know. But it brings its own inconveniences. However, it’s not a bug that can be directly solved because that’s how DashingDon works on the web. I understand that it’s different in the app, so it’s not something that would affect its publication on the app, but it would still be like that if played on the web.

You are wrong, my point is not invalid because your initial post was 12 days ago and to a completely different person. If the person you responded to had seen that post, they wouldn’t have asked the question in the first place. So yes, the information you are giving again should be given correctly, something that should be obvious, but well, who understands you.

First of all, I didn’t call you a liar for this reason. Are you even following the discussion? Because it seems like you’re arguing at this point without correct arguments. I called you a liar because you’re saying it’s not a bug that happens in all DashingDon games published on the web, and you continue to say no even when people have told you otherwise. As for the author’s part, that’s what your message implied. Whether it was intentional or not is another matter, but that implication is what comes across. So, you should be careful about what you say.

In other words, you’re calling me a liar without giving reasons. Of course, and then I’m the one attacking you, right? I justified everything I said. Whether I’m right or not is another matter, but you haven’t said anything to contradict what I’m saying.

I’m gonna do one better for you both, @moderators

Alright let’s just move on- it’s clear neither of you have anything more constructive to say and will clog up the thread without providing any more actionable feedback. Suffice to say if you said anything of note you’ve said enough to give the author enough to think about.

Just asking, what your plans for next update?

I’ve put in far more time on features than I expected, the next update text-wise is half done while content wise is 80% done. So I did the not-pretty bits and now need to spend a couple weeks rushing the pretty bits that I’ve already planned out. I direly want to drop it on New Years or earlier and I do have the last week of the year off from work.

@Beaterxys Alchemy 2 should absolutely do this, but alas we do not live in a perfect world

hold on now. this isn’t the perfect world but can you truly resist polishing taio’s head mid-whatever situation is at hand?

Hi @cultivator-anon! I just wanted to know something about the outfits you can purchase near the end of the demo. I’m not entirely well versed in Japanese/Chinese traditional clothing so I searched up some pictures and wanted to know how close I came.

Red and gold Cathayan hanfu:

Orange and black haori:

White and black hakama:

Brown travel cloak and large straw hat:

Baggy white tobi pants and a black small-sleave shirt:

A mod jumped on and requested that convo be finished as it was going nowhere HOWEVER with a better understanding of the choicescript/dashingdon(?) bug I added a page_break that asks to confirm Core increases, so that should fix it in the next update which is hopefully in 2 weeks.

Hello, here’s a doubt, whose answer and maybe consequent resolution would depend on a considerable part if the audience sees it as a stimulating notion and the resting majority if you see said consequence as aligned with your vision. In short (long), a hypothetical well-rounded martial artist should have one technique occupying every one of their cores and there’s a reasonable measure of certainty amongst the audience that core specialists exist, that said specialist seem to increase their hyper competent core through technique surges to fend against odds that would be impossible to get around by a generalist, unless they are indeed given workarounds, the reverse case is true if the specialist is given a workaround to use their hyper competent cores in a situation where a generalist would be more fit to survive, the thing is, what do a core specialist do when they know an amount of specialized-core techniques that surpasses their core capacity and where said techniques overlap in effect? (e.g., if Lady Desdemona is a knowledgeable soul specialist, how does that translate to the mechanics without making her potentially wide array of soul techniques with the effect of increasing the same core’s surge, dare we say redundant?). The answer to that question may intensify the replayability and diversity of paths your audience may be able to take beyond elements, styles, forms, and skills; otherwise, the outcome would be the audience being tempted to consider the same standard core point allocation for the sake of effectiveness (e.g., four points to every core). Thank you quite a lot, it seems that this answer may have not come a the most opportune of times, sorry for that :o)

I’ll only respond once because honestly, I’m tired of the same discussion. I used your message only as an example to prove my point to the other person, you would know that if you had bothered to read. You’re the one jumping into a discussion that has already died, and you say I’m the one looking for a fight?.
