The weakest Archon is 10k AP that is the starting level the strongest are people who are going to ascend to heavens so close to 20k.Same for the saints they start at 8k but the stronger ones most close to ascending.

Don’t forget, that was 1.) The youngest/most recently turned Wild God, if my memory serves correctly; 2.) The Lighbringer had already been massively damaged by the Archon, which was the sole reason why it fled from the deep seas and came onto the shore to eat and get its strength back.
The way I see it, the ol’ fishy boi already had 70-80% of his HP destroyed in a single blow—MC was there just to finish him off in his wounded state; honestly I’m pretty sure against a fully healed and rested Lightbringer, only a Jade Dragon MC would even stand a chance, forget a Mortal-Limit one

Don’t forget that the soul treasure of the Lightbringer is hardly more powerful than the one you can get from the wyrm that is being brought to the trials. And the wyrm had 3 treasures like that. In the scenario where you side with pirates captain Qing got two of them, after he eats them he’s on the level of your MC at the start of Ch.7, and not even trial contestant.

No it’s the starting point lol there are so many archons who have ascended.Same for the saints the only difference is they start at 8k but the upper limit is the same for both which is ascending and getting to heavens.
If thats comes true i wonder whats going to happen in the trials for us to defeat jack or at least not lose so badly, also since the last time we seen him on the thunderfall village and second taio raid he was not nearly as strong as he’s rumored to be.

I even thought about it, but other than the Loremaster poll about the races, I’ve never seen anyone mention the monkey yokai, so these millions of fans are very silent, which is ironic because Sun Wukong is anything but subtle and silent

Should have added this too because someone will still thinks archons strongest point is 10k lol.
If anything archons have the biggest advantage they get chosen at a very young age and get to cultivate in the capital while Exalted councilors need to become the strongest in their respective nation to reach the capital and cultivate there.

Speaking of this AP discussion, I’m curious about the AP of the two Taios. They’re probably more powerful than they seemed based on their combat performances, because of the heavenly gate boost we got while fighting them. The Sunbringer goons made it seem as if the second Taio had huge AP. At least more than Crow Li, who was probably a pretty strong upper disciple.

There’s a mention shortly before second Taio makes appearance that his AP is (at least) a few thousands. In the actual fight it’s probably quite lower, because cycling his gate forces him to expel significant part of it, one way or another.
