So being honest i was wondering why it was taking so long for it to update, but then as i was playing noticed that the shugendo missions elements now give a point to a skill so my bad but if you don’t mind me asking i was wondering how difficult it is to after adding the updated version from the patreon version to the free version, or if you actualky have to also re-do the free version, i actual am curios and want to know more about the difficulties of making these types of games

I had a second child in March so that slowed things down. I made a 165k update from February to June, and am now making chapter 7. When I finish 7, I will push it to patreon and make chapter 6 free.
Due to the way saves work in ChoiceScript’s plugins, I felt there wasn’t a point to make people replay the game for small updates, so I’m updating 1 chapter at a time. All said and done I’ve written about 300k words since the initial release on Halloween so I think we’re doing well.
This release seems slow because chapter 5 was supposed to be half for free and half for patreon guys so they got something for their money, but I wanted everyone to get closure so I made the whole chapter free. The cost for that is the next update (chapter 6) was purely for Patreon guys so they finally got the bonus chapter they paid for. Now whenever I write a new chapter, both the subscribers and free players will get a chapter because the patreon one will become free and the new one will become a patreon reward.
tl;dr this update is 2x slower than normal for free players but this delay will only happen once, the cause for it is already remedied.

And on sidenote, these who buy their Patreon pass after chapter 7 is done will have not one but two whole new chapters to play at once.
(which is, frankly, about the only reason i haven’t gotten ch.6 yet)
